First post from long time Forum reader. Seeking assistance.

During this long V8 layoff, I'm desperate to rewatch last year's Bathurst. Fox, strangely, never replayed the full telecast - just edited highlights.

I've contacted Supercars who say that the full telecast is unavailable - even for payment! In the old days you could purchase the DVD but they've gone the same way as the Tassie Tiger so how would I go about finding the full unedited replay today?

It's not available because Supercars doesn't have a legal right to make it available under the current TV deal.

The deal is up for renewal at the end of this year and from the sounds of it the next deal is going to be substantially different. If we're lucky, it'll fix this.

In my opinion I should be possible to pay bit of money each month to watch every round in full. Live or replay or archived whatever. Just open up the whole archive.

Fourth post in nearly two years, dude! Thanks for coming back onboard on V8Central!

How about downing another couple of cases of gin and signing back on in ~2022?

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

I know a couple of ways to access it but none legal from down under! Those in North America etc. can see it on MotorTrend OnDemand by subscribing for a few bucks.

They have Bathurst 1997 to 2019, and I've watched up to 2006 so far, but they've all been two hour highlights programs.

Yeah Foxtel own the rights. There hasn’t been DVD’s sold for a few years now.

There can be a “black market” in sales online if you look hard enough
