So supercars are planning to run an Eseries for the main game drivers by the looks of it while this situation is in full swing, question is will all the drivers participate? and would anyone watch it? either via twitch or youtube or facebook live.

sorry if this has been covered somewhere else

It is for sale.

Chances are Supercars made some new and much needed fans with their eSeries, so, ho do Supercars ensure that they stick around to watch the real thing?

In the end, the points gap between SVG and McLaughlin was actually bigger than the gap between McLaughlin and ADP in third.

Those three won 23 of the 31 races and were the only multiple race winners. They won 8 of the 10 rounds, took 48 of the 93 available race podium places, and swept the podium in six races.

Interestingly, they only swept the round podium once, at COTA, but they filled two of the round podium places at eight rounds.

No exemption. Shane is complying with the mandatory two-week self quarantine period.

As long as he had proof of residency I believe he was allowed in without an exemption, but he may have needed to get the official word that he could designate his residence as his place of quarantine anyway. It'd be a bit of a risk to just jump on a plane and hope you don't get thrown in a hotel room or even sent back due to a paperwork bungle.

As for his 'home', I can see how he personally would prefer to live back in NZ even after all this time, but it doesn't seem as likely that he'd want to settle back at his parents' place where I believe he was for most of the Eseries.

Maybe Boost should help him with a hotspot

Then ~ Lap 2 coming onto the front stretch, his car disappeared, some virtual tire smoke from where his car once was a few seconds ago, and cars wadding up with his (Ricko & Lundgaard) as he then reappeared.

Does his car disappear in their simulator views or is it just our view from the broadcast? It seems like a car going in and out of shot would be ridiculous for the rest of the competitors.

Serious answer.

Exemptions have been handed out all along for anyone who is required to travel as part of their job.

A vanishing car means iRacing has no idea where the car is on the race track.

Usually it means the iRacing server hasn't received any of Courtney's steering/pedal inputs for a moment. He could have driven the car anywhere and it's better if he's just not there than the only alternative (try to guess where he might be).

His car disappears for everyone, not just the broadcast. And on Courtney's screen, every other car in the race vanishes leaving him as the only car on the track for a moment.

If the server starts receiving wheel/pedal inputs within a few seconds he'll re-appear on the track. If the drop out is too long then he'll be removed from the race and recorded as a DNF.

i have really enjoyed this series. the front end has mostly been boring but it's been super interesting watching some of the other guys get better week by week. Chaz and Cam are almost as fast as the top 3, and even Reynolds seems to have caught on pretty quickly.

it's been fun, would love it to continue on in the future.
DJRford Posted - 04 Jun 2020 : 11:12:21
The competition caution in the second race was a joke. It was already a good race at the front while McLaughlin and Giz were fighting through the field. Pretty much as soon as they called it I knew Giz would win. One week to go. Honestly ten rounds was probably a bit excessive but then nobody forced me to watch all of them.

Here is a serious, legitimate answer:

SVG is self-quarantined in nominated premises as per Queensland law.

Nuffies have since asked why he is quarantined at his home on the Gold Coast and not at Mecure Tamworth.

In all seriousness this is a legit question, given the QLD premiere has borders closed to NSW!! He should be quarantined like every other person returning to Australia. There should be NO exceptions to this rule for anyone. You want to come here, go to forced 14 days quarantine. We are never going to get rid of this virus in AU if this isn't followed 100%. I don't care if the Queen of English her self comes here, here is your hotel room, stay there for 14 days!

Ah, but you see him turning a steering wheel pretending to drive. That doesn't mean his family cat isn't logged in back in NZ doing the actual iracing.
