And yet you throw your support behind a government that encourages foreign ownership while cutting support for local services and infrastructure.

On the flip side those foreign owners are still subject to Australian laws, employ Australian and use Australian services. For example: Gerry Harvey whinging about imported products undercutting his business. What most don't realise it that imported products employ more people through the delivery process than his shops selling from the shelf.

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.

Are you for real? Aren't you always droning on about the economy? Well woo hoo, guess what is the 4th most populous consumer economy on earth and close to Australia?

How many billions do you think will go begging because Aussie companies are kicked out of business opportunities in the archipelago? Or do you consider that an acceptable loss so Tony can thump his chest and rub his budgy smugglers on some Indonesians?

Forget the carbon tax. We have the Tony Tax - things that cost the economy billions because Toooooooooony feels like doing them.

So you choose to totally ignore the fact that this was done under the Labor government and you just choose to throw **** at Tony Abbott.

No wonder this country is going to the dogs.

Too much political selectiveness.

Is that why Abbott was so quick to apologize for it? OH WAIT. He hasn't.

He turned a scandal into a destroyed international relationship with his bungling. And yet you can't look past party lines for the good of the country.

As for Willsy, what good will focusing our industry on the 20 million Australians do? The only way to grow is to export to new markets. Like, I don't know, Indonesia. But Tony Abbott's mate - no, advisor - called their foreign minister a Filipino porn star.

Tony Abbott is saving us money. Soon we won't need an embassy in Indonesia because Australians will be banned. Thanks Tony. Government by adults... who insult foreign dignitaries over Twitter.

Yeah until they decide to escalate their protest and blow something up.

Look a situation like this was always going to happen with Abbott as PM. He is a bully and is completely lacking in tact and diplomacy. It worked well for him as opposition leader but that bully-boy attitude does not work when you're PM and you're forced to deal with sensitive foreign affairs matters.

Good to see the latest Polls this morning having Labor leading the Libs, after just 2 months in the job, what happened to the 'honeymoon period' phenomenon. He certainly is a bit of work, alienated a lot of the people who voted him in so quickly

More like take my support away from Labor... I was keen to see Kev get in for '07 but that turned out to be a mistake. After the shambles they created amongst themselves and for our living costs and debt, that changed pretty rapidly for me.

I have never thought the Libs were a good alternative, but at least a better option than what we had. So far the juries still out for me and will be for some time, but the government have a fair way to go to still get to the shocking levels of the previous government.

I am pretty keen on seeing Aussies looked after first, and to begin with its about us getting a more secure situation at our homes before anything. I don't see anyone really trying for this other than Mr X...

Even better, it's now probably down to only around 1,000 days before we have the opportunity to vote in the next poll that counts.

I don't think he promised, and I don't think that will happen. Tony is probably disillusioned about dissolutions right now.

Hahaha looks like he's going to break another promise. What was he calling her? Juliar?

More like Phony Tony. Already unpopular as dog **** after 2 months in the job. One term, let's hope they make the term as short as possible. I don't think the country can afford more Liberal MPs rorting and insulting.

When you say "more secure at our homes"...do you mean like protecting the future and a clean environment....saving the Great Barrier Reef etc,etc....or do you mean...ensuring we are safe...and building strong relations with a closest neigbours given what has occurred under previous Governments(Bali 2002 etc)...cause...just quitely...... in just the past 2 months and the massive damage already done......it's starting to look like time to hit the panic buttons!!!!
