I thought it was great this morning on Sunrise (whoever it was) saying Australians don't want to know how the boats are stopped, they just want them stopped,

so I guess its ok to blow them out of the water as long as we aren't told about it

Are ninemsn polls as representative and accurate as V8 Central polls?

Don't know Zac!
It's now 66175 to 9948.
One would assume (dangerous I know) that ninemsn polls are much harder to manipulate but...

He's referring to sample bias.....Channel 9's demographics are older conservative, blue rinse set....you'd get a similar polling on 2GB etc....

Seems we are now at war with asylum seekers....and the public can't know the details.....nothing Orwellian going on there!

Abbott should have sent Krudd to Indonesia to explain why he was spying on them. He could have apologised to them too. You have to be good at something.

And there was much less debt when Abbott got in. As for you denying that the GFC had any effect on Australia. LOL.

Funny thing is the world is recovering but now Australia is in a budget crisis thanks to Abbott cutting everything. Oh except his mining mates get a tax break.

I suppose you're going to claim global conditions are why our economy is going down the ****ter. How rich.

Well, one's FTA TV and the other is non-subscription internet, but same owners and similar demographic. Those numbers in that poll (like 6-7 to 1 supporting "pushing back" boats) are representative of people who (1)logged onto ninemsn at the time the poll was conducted, and (2)voted in an online poll. If the issue became the major issue in an election campaign, IMHO the numbers would be around 50/50 - maybe slightly in favour of supporting the "pushing back" policy.

I'm getting all darwin/bundy/rusty obsessively pseudo-intellectual and wordy, so I'll stop.

Such polls are open to abuse. Just clear your temporary internet files and vote again.

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.
