It seemed like a good idea, but will Abbott take notice of what people want from this march?

They only take notice of what the people want to get votes. Once they get in power they ignore the people and only give that those scratch Pollies nuts what they want.

Given that this small minority crowd of only about 30,000 people are demanding he quit office.....I dare say he won't comply!.....I take heart from that fact that it is getting very hard to find anybody who will publicly admit to voting for him....

So LG, want to talk about pollies disrespecting our soldiers again?

Orphans of soldiers to have welfare payments cut. Read that and try to defend it Zaccy boy.

Can afford $5 million for Abbott's new BMWs but not $300,000 for the basic respect of our armed forces. Why does Abbott hate our servicemen? Risks their lives breaching Indonesian waters and now refuses to look after their ORPHANED children.

Sensationalism at its best.
You're good at that.

It was one of the many things proposed by the previous government on the back of raising millions of dollars from the mining tax.

Oops, didn't happen

You're good at the spin. The mining tax 'didn't happen' because Abbott campaigned to remove it.

I see you've stopped caring about disrespect for our troops now Abbott's done it again.

No money for diggers because Gina needs it more.

There was some fall out of the March For March protests, if you go by social media. A High School girl of non voting age wore a T Shirt that said **** Off Abbott. Going by some of the comments, she shouldn't have those views as she is non voting age, its the families fault for brainwashing her, and its the schools fault as they have political agendas they have to push.

You have to love, and shake your head at some of the weird **** that pops up there.

I was 23 when I voted in the 'It's Time' election in 1972. It was time, and Gough walked it in. The then PM, Billy MacMahon was my local member, and there was no way I could have voted for him. Never has there been a clearer choice for Australian voters. There had been 23 years of Liberal rule, mainly with Sir Robert lording over us all, and then a rapid decline down to Billy. I can still remember election night, with Gough and Margaret in their home in Albert St Cabramatta in his seat of Werriwa celebrating. The TV went later than ever. Gough with his loyal deputy Lance ripped into things immediately. It was a new era and Australia had come of age after decades of post-war ordinariness. Decades of being relaxed and comfortable, some might say. Gough was on a roll, but he had a lot of tired old men along for the ride, and it all started to fall apart so quickly. We had "We'll just print more money" Jim, and his "love" for his personal assistant, the Khemlani affair, etc. Nothing's changed much really since. Not even today, going by today's news.

'Rapt' as in raptures, btw. Couldn't help it.
