This is fun, but it's hard to keep up with a couple of different chats at once (while watching ABC news and eating my dinner).

Trev, tell me that you see the problem - ignoring any political loyalties.

REM, can't respond just now. Eric Abetz is on the news. (Why do George Brandis and Eric Abetz speak so funny?)

You know Col, my wife is a real trooper, she does Family Day Care (looks after kids in our home through the local Council), she has been at it for 30 years, been a tax payer while raising our 4 kids, she said the same thing yesterday, she took 2 lines of thought, one being retire at 65 burn up our Super then go on the aged pension at 67 or 'quit' at 65 and become 'unemployable' (simply being 65 will do that - LOL)

I am not just angry at Hockey or the Liberals, I am angry at the lot of them, they have known this was coming, there was no secret in the 'baby boomer' concept, the ****ers are happy to give away money and it has been like that for the entire part of my adult life.

And the worst thing is, the ****en idiot Costello has done it all again, he created a new lot of 'baby boomers' with the 'baby bonus', jeez we are governed by ****en idiots.

This issue has been burning me for quite a long time

Had to calm ol Godfrey down.....when Brando said that the LNP supports Bigotry....he took it the wrong way(Godfrey for PM!)...he's a right old duffer that Godfrey...his hopes are still up for a knighthood though....as an act of community service....he's planning to build a casino next to Manly Wharf, with everything written in Chinese.....Big James and Tonz have give it the nod on their tour!

That's great, it starts with an earthquake

I don't know if James and Godfrey could work together. James isn't a bigot. I mean, he loves the Chinese. The richer the better.

Back on raising the retirement age... Before we get too cranky with our pollies, remember this going on all over the world. They've been striking in France over it, the Chinese are up in arms about it, it's happening in the US - and the UK. Stone the flamin' crows. Are all the pollies in the world flamin' morons?

I can understand the amount of income tax paid in relation to the pension received but's not just that.
10% on everything I buy, 38 cents per litre on fuel, stamp duty and every other ****ing tax.

I think they still owe us a pension and at a reasonable age.

The manual workers will be the ones that lose out the most. It's proven that they have shorter lives anyway and they will be thrown on the scrap heap.

Politicians are ********s.
I went to have a look at the Strong Choices website set up by the QLD LNP government.
Basically it asks how you would get rid of the supposed 80 billion debt. When you take out cash reserves and debt taken out by Government owned corporations in their line of business the real debt is actually way lower than what the LNP are claiming.
Anyway this website is a scam. If you don't answer the questions in a manner that the LNP want you too, it won't let through to the next page. So much for listening to what the voters want.

I'm not going to post a link because this site is nothing more than propaganda and aimed at deceiving the user.
There is nothing quite like a loaded poll..

These dead ****s are even deleting any comments that were posted on their youtube clip, on facebook and apparently even on twitter

This LNP government is morally bankrupt and after the short term gain of asset sales has gone through this state will have even more problems with revenue

My earlier post about politicians raising the pension age but being entitled to their pension as soon as they lose office irrespective of age - maybe I was mixed up as think it is their super that they get immediately...or do they get super and pension on losing office?

Either way, if they were to align the pension and/or super rules for them to the same as the rules for us they may cop less flack over this.

Points to Zac for not knowing which soapie Alf Flamin' Stewart was on. Pretty sure he was on Chances, though may have been earlier than that...maybe Number 96.

We're both getting mixed up, Iggle. It was Alf Sutcliffe on Number 96, I know nothing about Chances - but Alf Stewart isn't there, and Alf Stewart is on Home And Away.

Now I'm confused. I thought he was from that reality tv show: "My Flamin' Diner Rules" or whatever it is
