In today's news, Tim "IPA" Wilson racked up 77K worth of expenses, funded by you and I, to perform a position he previously said should be removed. That is in addition to his 332K salary.

Seems he may have changed his mind when he could get free stuff while we, the taxpayer, fund it.

The government have launched their Agricultural White Paper and while there are some good benefits for farmers and trading partners, it does have some dumb, pie in the sky ideas.

In the white paper, they are still heavily focused on the grand idea of developing The North by opening it up new infrastructure such as farmland, new industries and even new towns. It more than likely won't work as the the only new industries will be new mines and the new towns will be MAC villages.

They have also put more funding in to build new dams. When you have inconsistent rainfall, and the existing dams are below 10% capacity, why the **** would you build more dams that aren't likely to ever be filled by decent rainfall and runoff?

The whole Zacky thing was clearly a convenient excuse for him to have a moan about the ABC... which he promised not to cut... before cutting it less than a year later.

But don't worry, Kochie will probably have a "hard-hitting" sausage sizzle with an LNP bozo sometime soon.

Bill Shortens mate David Hicks has already had airtime on q and a when John Howard was on.

Interestingly, both leaders (Abbott and Shorten)have the worst disapproval ratings ever. This is possibly the worst pack politicians ever seen in this country. How do we fix it?

Don't know Mick. Ch7's Sunday Night programme said we might need the bullets when the 10,000 Indonesian troops invade?? The Greens members might be useful. We can use them as sandbags.

Yet oddly enough Bill recalled a payment made to him many moons ago and which he finally declared last week.

Could be worse and not say anything at all.

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.

So now Abbot's royal commission into who gives a **** is over, let's discuss real issues like the giant new mine destroying Aussie farmland.

Time for Barnaby to resign I think. God the Nationals are a failure.

If you're referring to The Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption (that's the commission established in March 2014 by then Governor General Quentin Bryce, and the same one that Bill Shorten has been giving evidence to this week) - it's not over. It will be hearing evidence every business day from now until the end of this month (July 31st). Bill might be recalled to give more waffle - sorry, evidence before it winds up. We can still discuss real issues in the meantime though - like the giant new mine destroying Australian farmland. On that subject: Barnaby mightn't need to resign. On the issue of that coalmine: Tony Windsor is making noises about making a comeback and standing against Barnaby at the next election. That's Tony Windsor who sold his farm to Whitehaven Coal just a few years ago. Politicians... no wonder we support and admire them so much.
