Sachsenring, Germany has been speculated as being replaced, but I don't know if it will be the one to go.

Also while we are talking about 2013, Argentina has been announced in the 2013 calendar.

Argentina confirmed on 2013 MotoGP calendar

Argentina to re-join MotoGP calendar in 2013

MotoGP will return to South America in 2013 with official confirmation that Argentina will rejoin the premier-class calendar.

The last Argentinian motorcycle grand prix was held in 1999 while MotoGP has been absent from South America since the final Brazilian round in 2004.

The Termas de Río Hondo circuit in the province of Santiago del Estero, will host the new Argentinian MotoGP event until at least 2015. The agreement is subject to FIM homologation.

Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP star Andrea Dovizioso and former grand prix rider Sebastian Porto were present for the announcement.

In what looks like a further tilt of the sport's axis away from financially stricken Europe, the Argentinian round will be one of four to be held in the Americas, as Austin, Texas will also join the 2013 calendar.

Other booming nations knocking on Dorna's door are India, Singapore and Ukraine, so the shift away from Europe along with the logistical challenges for the MotoGP circus seems set to continue.

The last world championship round in Argentina was held at Buenos Aires in 1999, with the 500, 250 and 125 classes being won by Kenny Roberts Jr, Olivier Jacques and Marco Melandri respectively.

The provisional 2012 calendar contains 18-rounds - twelve of them in Europe, including four rounds in Spain.

Why are races being dropped for new races? Are they only allowed a certain amount per year?

Europe are losing races, because they are finacially stricken ATM, so they can't pay for the amount what Dorna and MotoGp wants them to run the races, so they are getting rid of them. But some are for different reasons.

The races allowed in a season limit,I think there still allowed more races then they currently have, but they just have tracks that are not getting enough money so they are going!

Jerez to host 2012 Spanish Grand Prix

Tuesday, 27 December 2011
An agreement has been reached that ensures the Circuito de Jerez will play host to the Grand Prix of Spain again in 2012. Continued negotiations will aim to ensure the inclusion of the event on the MotoGP calendar for a further four years, as is desired and anticipated by all parties concerned.

The popular Spanish venue traditionally marks the first European GP on the calendar, and Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta is pleased to have arrived at an agreement with the city of Jerez for the upcoming season. "We are delighted to confirm that the 2012 Grand Prix of Spain will be held at the Circuito de Jerez, a very special locale for the MotoGP World Championship.”
“I'd like to thank the Junta de Andalucía and Jerez de la Frontera City Council for their support in working toward securing this iconic event,” added Ezpeleta. “We'll now look ahead to the future of the event and focus on working together to reach an agreement up until 2016."
