Could have, I'm not sure? I'd assumed VR probably arranged the ride for him with them?

Sweet isn't coming out this year though

Yamaha have built this for speedway racing in USA.

Rear drive, chain driven and Yamaha R1 powered.

I'm thinking it could be a better training tool for Junior Sedan drivers?

look like good things...what do the legends cars run in them ??

if anything I think they need to slow the juniors down a little, they have had some big accidents in recent years. I remember watching one go threw the safety fence at the hamilton speedway and another barrel roll down the straight at Portland speedway

There probably are some R1 powered legends and modlites doing the rounds.

I've seen some weird and wonderful contraptions on speedway tracks in my time and those things have just joined the list.

big few weeks coming up...who's gonna win the classic ? and who's gonna win the title ?

for me..Kerry Madsen will win both

still don't understand why the Americans cant run in the title...would be like Australians not allowed to race knoxville

That rule has never bothered be, but then again when Kerry Madsen wins the title but lives and races all year in America, it wouldn't really make a difference if an American won it.

Having said that this rule is not just something limited to the Australian Sprint Car title, for instance the Australian GT Championship winner these days must be a local CAMS licence holder (They changed it after Christopher Mies won the 2015 title)

Very true, what is the official reason given for not allowing the Sprintcar title to be won by a non-Aussie?

Could be a long drive with that Bushfire which has cut the Princes Highway just over the border from Borderline.

Should be ok for you if you wander over tomorrow but most of the teams have been based in Warrnambool since they left Avalon last night so could be a long detour to get to bed after racing finishes tonight.
