I have heard that he isn't exactly a promoters dream since he has done the Axl Rose a few times.

So, Kerry, back to back to back, or are predicting someone like Jamie Veal can win?

One fan missed the Classic as he didn't make it past the main street.

https://www.speedcafe.com/2018/01/23/speedway-fan-released-bizarre-arrest/

He was throwing biscuits at cars, among other unsavoury behaviour.

Must have been Tim Tams or Monte Carlos then, rather than Jatz Crackers or Shapes.

Lol...I know his dad

Brett milburn may miss the title due to his crew chief involved in an accident yesterday...he is in hospital with broken ribs, the spare car which was being towed is written off...people in the other car didn't fair so well

Has always been a problem and not much they can do about it as they can't make any changes to the access onto the highway.

Sunday night I did a lap of the pits and walked back to the Warrnambool side car park and the bulk of the traffic was well and truly gone by then.

He was a very tough business man and ran his race team the same way......from what I understand he loved the drivers but wasn't too fond of crew chiefs and other team members for what ever reason...

He sold us race gear at bargain prices which was very surprising, but I think he just wanted out

The World of Outlaws have recently gone back through and rewritten their history books to redefine what it means to be a feature race winner. If they have had multi day rounds where there have been full grids, they will know acknowledge the prelim A main winner as a race winner. In doing so, drivers that have previously won prelim A mains have had their win tallies adjusted. Erin Crocker is now an official WoO feature winner, and The Kings record is now even more untouchable.

I find re-visionist history pretty ridiculous, if you weren't acknowledged as a winner at the time, you shouldn't be handed it years later.

Of course Australian motor racing hasn't been immune to this stuff, with Supercars re-writing their history books in 2009

American Zach Daum and current Oz #1 Kaidon Brown are up here this weekend for the Speedcar Grand Prix.

https://www.nvi.com.au/story/5285216/american-ace-revving-up-for-speedcar-meet/?cs=376

It wasn't the greatest exhibition of speedcar racing. I turned up after missing the sedan classes had their first run of heats and the track already had a blue groove by then.

Kaidon Brown hung it on the fence during the first heat after finding the very wide cushion and wasn't seen again until the feature.

The water truck made its usual appearance and did a lap of the track and even that didn't improve the track as the night cooled off and went on. Any of the big tyred cars just produced tyre squeal and smoke coming through the corners.

Unless you were in a street stocker, fenda benda or Kaidon Brown, it was a single lane, follow the leader affair.

The AGP trophy holder is Reid McKay, with Mat Jackson in second and American Zach Daum in third. Zach does have a Gunnedah connection as Brad Cox was his team mate a few years ago in the Chili Bowl.

EDIT: Cam Waters is the new Australian Modified Sedan champion.
