Quite a close session going by the times. I would've liked to see it. It'll be cool if we can have a battle in the race between the three top teams, though perhaps Mercedes will edge ahead in the race?

Fairly easy race for Hamilton once Ferrari committed to a two-stop.

Great defensive driving by Verstappen at the end.

Nice to see Williams back on the podium.

Great interview with Hamilton and Vettel in the post-race, looking for the seagulls at turn one .

Yeah, but Ferrari certainly had the pace to push the Mercs, if they got their strategy right. They should never have pitted Vettel and let Hamilton take the lead, the Mercs are very strong in clean air, but seem to suffer a lot in disturbed air.

I don't know how I stayed awake during that race.

Apart from the first laps and the end with Max/Nico, ho hum. Ferrari shot themselves in the foot on tyre deg assumptions, Lewis inherited the win.
Button & Alonso are frustrated (surprise!), but sound upbeat in front of the cameras (surprise!).

Wasn't too exciting a race sadly. What happened with Dan? At the start, Max got him due to Rosberg rejoining, otherwise they'd have gone side by side into the next turn. Early on their pace was even, but after the stops Dan dropped a lot of time?

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.

There was a couple of times Max was pushing the friendship with moving back over to the racing line under braking.

One of the runs into the final chicane I thought Nico would of been quite vocal about. I guess the TV angle can be deceptive
