Surprised this hasn't come up yet. What's everyone's thoughts on the Verstappen moves?

Late..? Legal..? Unsportsmanlike..?

For mine, Kimi had to dodge twice I think to avoid collision, which would suggest he was committed to a line before Verstappen was... within the rules yes, and probably won't cop anything from it, but I don't like it...

I think the one at turn two was iffy. He was lucky that Raikkonen was awake otherwise they both would have been off the track. Another solid defensive drive, though. Kimi must be sick of looking at the back of Verstappen's Red Bull!

Good job by Dan to keep the tyres alive as well after he pitted early. Sadly Mercedes just always had that extra bit of pace in them. Would have been interesting if Dan had been able to stay ahead at the first corner.

What is the Vettel "blue flag!" count up to now?

Under ****** Schumacher's rules (Rules he invented to justify his dirty driving) Verstappen did something wrong. But really it was nothing.

Hungary is now the 4th race Hamilton has won while making a driving error and been able to get away with it with these tracks that don't punish getting off track. Monaco, Britain and Hungary, he lost control and the whole car left the circuit. At Canada he lost control and punted Rosberg off. He's leading the championship, but he's been **** this year. If he does win the title it'll certainly be due to a superior car covering up his clumsy driving.

I thought Verstappen's move was dodgy. He's just lucky that Kimi reacted quickly and only nipped him. Max is a great racer, but he doesn't seem to give racing respect. He has to be careful otherwise he'll cause a big accident.

How was that losing control and punting Rosberg off? The contact was minimal.

This is losing control and punting someone off:

You see. Your attitude, particularly from those who have an influence, are a huge part of why there's a lot of dumb **** driving that is not held accountable.

Because it was "minimal". Because Hamilton didn't mean it. You're ok to let it pass. Rosberg didn't leave the track because he made a mistake. If he didn't make a mistake, then who did?

It clear from the birds eye shot. That Hamilton does lose control of his car and taps Rosberg, forcing Rosberg off track. It even appears as though Hamilton turned right into Rosberg.

But in modern day "racing", particularly if you follow v8sc. Short of flicking the car around driving into the opposite direction and aiming for cars. Incidents are let go.

"But it doesn't matter. It was only a little touch. You know what they say? Rubbin's racing"

Rubbin's racing if you're a **** driver.

You need to watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8smrOHvb8lA

At no time does Hamilton turn right into Rosberg, he doesn't even make a correction due to being out of control. He has a bit of understeer and that's it. It's a tight couple of corners, Rosberg takes a punt on the outside, and it doesn't pay off.

Congratulations Jamie Whincup on 7 Championships!

Understeer is a loss of control of the car.

The one at Canada wasn't a big incident, but it must be questioned given that Rosberg was pushed off the track by Hamilton. Not saying Lewis intentionally ran him out of road, as I don't believe he did, but he did still run him off with no consequence when Nico got a penalty for running Verstappen off in Germany, despite Max moving under braking and compromising Nico's line...
