The 113 laps that Scott led puts him second on laps led in an Adelaide 500. Ambrose has 126 (2005) and 100 (2004). To show Scott's domination on the weekend, Gizzy led 119 laps total for 2017 & 2018 Adelaide.

Scott did beat the Ambrose record from 2005 of most laps led in an Adelaide 500 race with 74 on the Saturday.

The Mustang-like shape is doing pretty good out of the box.

This year should see the biggest win margin in the championship, and probably seal up the championship the earliest in history.

I really doubt it. 888 are never down for long.
I'll put a Beer on it (your choice of beer Style, my choice of quantity, location, time and duration)

Not the earliest in History AND not the biggest margin

(I define History as commencing in 1950)

Scott would need to be 1200 points clear heading into Bathurst to wrap the series up earlier than Skaife did in 2002 - not going to happen.

To win by the biggest margin he'd have to be 659 clear at season's end. Highly unlikely.

Win percentage would be the clearest decider of the most winningest season IMO.

Scotty is looking good.

Should know by now that Supercars don't looks at win percentage. If that was the case we'd be celebrating Alan Moffat as the 'winningest' driver, not Whincup, Lowndes or Skaife...

David McKay would have something to say about that .

I was certain Skaife clinched the title at Pukekohe that year?

But I still think SM will win with more than 659 points.

Skaife clinched the title after Bathurst that year, he had 751 point lead after Bathurst, with 680 points on offer from the remaining Honda Indy 300, Boost Mobile NZ V8 International and Sandown V8 Ultimate rounds.

Scotty can not be beaten this year from this point on! The only questions are when and where will he be securing title and who is the first loser
