Guess it depends on where you look.
https://metro.co.uk/2017/11/30/these-are-the-top-100-uk-baby-names-of-2017-7120428/

https://www.prima.co.uk/family/kids/a25329182/most-popular-baby-names-babycentre/

Some lists have Mohammed sperate from Muhammad though, but IMO they're just different ways of spelling the same name. Like Stephen vs Steven, Alan vs Allan etc.

The reality is, the percentage of the population that is Muslim is increasing, as it is here.

In the UK voting isn't compulsory, so it wouldn't be neccessary for the majority of the population to be Muslim for them to elect a muslim government. They already elected a muslim mayor of London.

Look on the bright side, karter. Mohammed, Muhammad etc might be reasonably popular names in the UK, but the reality is that when it comes to religion here, far and away the fastest growing sector is 'No religion'.

In the past three censuses (2006, 2011, 2016), Islam has grown from 1.75% to 2.2% to 2.6%. 'No religion' has grown from 18.7% to 22.3% to 30.1%.

The news for boys' names is pretty good too. The most popular name for baby boys here is also Oliver, coming in 1st for the seventh year in a row. Mohammad makes the Top 100 for the first time at 86.

There you go. Worse things happen at sea than Mohammed winning anything.

We tend to follow the UK by about 10 years. You'll see.

Well you've pretty much shown that.

Mohammed in the top 100 for the first time. It'll climb to the top.

Mmmm. Mohammed will climb to the top . Interesting fact - if it comes true.

Australia has seen off Shane and Wayne and Clinton - and Antonio and Francesco and Salvatore - and Shannon and Jarrod and Jason - and Dylan and Morgan and Tyler too.
Mohammed is just another passing fad. Good old Anglo-Saxon names rule.

Of course, because globally there have been so many attacks by right wing extremists. Not like the other mob.

What would really be worrying is if anyone was actually stupid enough to believe that.
