Something that I have been pondering over the weekend...

At Winton VicState round we had Francois Habib driving in 2 categories... Formula Vee (obviously in an FV) and Sports Sedans in an ex-Supercar! Talk about a mindbender from the driver's seat! Anyone else know of folk in recent times (or older) who had big changes in their drives?

Also the biggest change in series was something else bouncing in my head.

Jordan Caruso raced the Excel series in Vic (still does) but jumped straight from there into the national series Sports Sedan in the Audi! Does anyone know of other drivers who have had similar monster jumps from one series to the next? (as opposed to the regular slow one category at a time rise)

Jimmy Richards used to go between the right-hand drive Supercar to left-hand drive Porsche.

kinda expected to have Jim come up and the bouncing between left/right hand drive for sure puts him up there...

I think I was more looking along the lines (originally at least) for variance of vehicle types but happy for this to go along JR's line too

Didier Pironi drove Brock Commodore production car in the 1980 Race of Champions at Calder, then 2hrs later hopped into an Elfin F5000 to compete in the 1980 Australian Grand Prix , finishing 3rd

Russell Ingall drove a Triple 8 Holden Vectra in the 1998 Bathurst 1000, and a NASCAR in one of the support races

Didn't Peter Hopwood race his Appendix J Chevy Nova and his Kadicha Sportscar at the same events?
