Absolute shocker of a crash in last night's race at Spa has ended with the death of one of the competitors.
I haven't seen the impact shown on any of the tv coverage but I did see it from someone in the crowd on their phone and it really was one of the biggest you would ever hope to never see
From the tv coverage it looks like it was a lose to driver's left, bounced him across the track to driver's right and then, while stationary, was t-boned at very high speed at the top of the hill.

I have often felt that to be a pretty dangerous spot for when drivers do have a moment. The tyres stop the heavy wall impact but when they spit you fully across the track in the way this did they really must revisit track safety and find a way to arrest the cars so this doesn't happen again.
