The 2019 Open International Enduro Cup, annually sponsored by the V8 Central Fantasy League, has commenced and ALL are invited to participate!

USE THIS THREAD TO SIGN UP and chat as desired.

Totally separate from any other part of the V8CFL, it is open to everyone on the V8 Central forum. You do not have to be a member of the V8CFL.

There are three Enduro Rounds - Bathurst, the Gold Coast, and my personal favorite, Sandown.

The formula for this year:

You will choose cars from the table below and choose 12 total utilizing the formula provided. Four cars will be entered for each enduro. Those four cars are at your discretion. You can only use cars once.

For each race we will tally the points gained by all four of the cars per team, place the members of our group from top to bottom, and issue the Virgin Supercars points when done. This means top camp gets 300 points, second place 276, and so on. The Gold Coast round will be the same, with two races that round, dishing out half of those points each.

Remember: The cars can only be used ONCE.

If a driver vacates a car for whatever reason, you still have that car and whoever steps into it.

So, whatever four cars are entered for the first race at Bathurst, those four cars go in the fantasy garage after the race and are done. For the Gold Coast (the next round), you must enter four OTHER cars. Once the Gold Coast is done, you will then have eight cars in the fantasy garage and must enter your remaining four for Sandown. For cars entered purposes, The Gold Coast round will be treated as a round, not two individual races, so you enter four cars for the Gold Coast, not eight. Those four cars will be scored for both GC races.

Cars will be chosen from the list at the bottom of this post. Please use THIS THREAD for signing up for the 2019 Open International Enduro Cup.

NOTE: You CANNOT change which cars are entered for each round once the deadline for entering Bathurst has passed. You will have what you have for all three rounds.

All teams must be submitted by: THURSDAY MIDNIGHT, OCTOBER 10TH, SYDNEY, NSW TIME. Anything submitted after that will not be allowed. Now, you can CHANGE your cars/selection prior to the aforementioned deadline, but cannot change anything after said deadline. Once the deadline hits, everything is locked down for all three enduro rounds – even if a car is penalized by the sanctioning body and must sit out.

Please use a format such as this to sign up:

Team Principal (ex. V8 Central name - skaifeman)
Team Name (ex. Holden United Motorsports)
Car Number: Three digits or less and letters are acceptable
Manufacturer: (ex. Holden Commodore ZB)
Roster of four cars per round, 12 cars total, used only once (ex.):
Bathurst: 6, 12, 88, 97
Gold Coast: 2, 7, 8, 23
Sandown: 3, 14, 34, 78

Please make your manufacturer a "proper" racing marque. Preferably a touring car but sports cars and muscle cars are welcome. Retro cars such as Monaros, also. I reserve the right to disallow any marquee in the event it is not proper. If one is disallowed and not changed by the team principal, I will default said marquee to a Ford Mustang.

Tiebreakers are: Top finish of the four cars in race. If that is the same, next car in race, and so on. If all four cars are identical, it will be a tie and we will move on.

Past champs:

2018: skaifeman
2017: skaifeman
2016: DanMcG
2015: mightymurph51

So, in closing: 12 cars chosen from the list using the applicable format. Four cars entered per round. Deadline is THURSDAY MIDNIGHT, OCTOBER 10TH, SYDNEY, NSW TIME. Once the deadline hits, everything is what it is.

Feel free to use the Media Centre thread if you wish to post images of your car and livery or news of your team. If you need help in that arena, there are members of the V8CFL and this forum that would be more than happy to gin something up for you livery-wise, I am sure. These guys live for opportunities of this kind. Just ask nicely.

I also suggest you use YOUR name as the driver.

I will update the entrants list periodically as we close in on the Bathurst deadline.

Group A – Choose TWO:

17 Scott McLaughlin / Alex Premat

Roster of cars:

Similarly to last year, Mr Allan Moffat will once again return as crew chief - aiming to go 3 in a row!
We're unsure if we'll return to a re-homologated VF which has won the previous 2 International Enduro Cups, or move to the faster flowing Mustang/Commodore.

Team Principal: skaifeman (Crew Chief: A. Moffat)
Team Name: Ain't Care Motorsports Wildcard Entry - #33 Brut Racing
Manufacturer: Holden Commodore VF

Roster
Bathurst: 88, 2, 19, 33
Gold Coast: 55, 8, 14, 15
Sandown: 17, 6, 23, 34

EDIT: Manufacturer updated.

Things look good for Harry S and skaifeman so far. Although some of the greatest inventors and entrepreneurs have thought outside of the box, T1, it is not allowed in the Open International Enduro Cup. Said box might get jammed in your grille.

Oh, wait.... didn't that happen at Bathurst before?

Reference down this thread to see what we have so far as we wait for Trickyonne to "adjust" his roster. Others are soon to join I am sure. I will adjust the list as we go.

It is now past the deadline for entering this contest. We will have six participants.

I have updated the entry list with the latest entrant, Hiroshima Racing. I took the liberty of making your Mazda a Mazda6, buzzer. If you wish to change, let me know.

All updates will now be provided on the Open International Enduro Cup Table thread for this contest.
