Israel Folau:

Religion: Mormon... Assemblies of God... Truth of Jesus Christ Church (his dad's own little church)...
Chosen sport: Rugby League... Australian Rules... Rugby Union... Rugby League...
Country: Australia... Tonga ("my country")...

He's like one of those comic strips that are now dying out in newspapers. People used to have a bit of a look at them without really being too interested. They just kept going on, and on, going nowhere...

The "good Christian" has lied already.
He stated that it had been approved by the RLIF but they haven't even discussed it.
It hasn't come before them.
Again he's trying to use the public to back him against an organisation.

His "new future" won't see him play too many games (assuming he does get to play for Tonga). There's one or two games in the Rugby League Nines at Parramatta in October, and two World Cup games in New Zealand (one against Great Britain and one against Australia, in October and November) and that's it. He could possibly go and play club games in Tonga next year, but there's no money in that. Those four games for Tonga are up in the air currently, because there's a blue between players and the board, threatening a boycott of those international games. He's still got soccer though. He could be better at kicking the ball than running with it, but kicking has never been his strong point.

That issue will be settled before it goes to court for a sum around 30% of what he's asking after he's ripped off thousands of people from their hard earned money in the process and ride off in the sunset in his lambo to his multi million dollar mansion.

He will take whatever settlement offer RA give him because there's a snow ball chance in hell that if it gets anywhere near the High Court, they'll find in his favour.

If you dont understand how the legal system from a commercial perspective works, you're best to keep your opinions to yourself before some like minded muppet takes your word as gospel...

People settle even if they have winnable cases because it saves the initial expense and allows them to control the situation. RA will weigh up the cost of litigation (the fact that at most they'll only get 80% of their costs if they are largely successful) on top of a lengthy drawn out process that will take years to resolve and; consideration of the commercial damage it may cause to their business if its continually a negative in the media.

Of course, if Falou does agree to settle, what does that say about him as a person and his "principals" and beliefs... or like his "beliefs" does it become a simple money grab for the deluded and uneducated?

Read your linked article, it isn't very long - ""I don't want to bring any of my personal matters into this and I am grateful that the IRLF have endorsed my availability," he said in a Tonga National Rugby League release."

Oh dear, a documented confession.

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.
