I have gone through the file cabinets here at V8 Central Fantasy League Headquarters, located off of the cold southeastern shores of Lake Michigan, and compiled a list of our previous champions.

The torch was picked up by myself in 2015, so that is as far back as our history books go here today. Bear in mind, although the format of the V8CFL has undergone a few tweaks and changes, other contests have also been added along the way.

We started out with three comps: The V8CFL, the V8CFL Enduro Cup, and the Open International Enduro Cup.

After the first year, we added the V8CFL Tournament - in 2016. Since then we have had all four each year.

Upon signing up, we allowed Holdens and Fords only. No specific type. It was just "understood" they were the Commodores and Falcons of that day.

In 2018 all makes were allowed, opening a floodgate of BMWs, Mazdas, Hyundais, Hondas, Toyotas, etc.

Early on, the Open International Enduro Cup also did not have a means for competitors entering a specific car, number, or team name. It was simply their V8 Central log in name.

Until this year, the V8CFL Enduro Cup used both drivers' cars in the contest. Now, only one car is used and that being the car of the Group A driver.

So there are some gaps in the history, but all of the winners are there. I said early on when I took up this cause that there will be obstacles in the road to overcome, and well.... those were a few. Hind sight is always 20/20.

This is very interesting. I remember winning the inaugural V8CFL Privateers Cup back in 2008. Haven't won a championship since...

I was going through and making a spread sheet of all the team's total top 5 results but honestly it's taking much longer than I had anticipated...
