Wasn't able to catch the race Mike, but did see our Ryan and Chaz did very well.
The C8 Corvette needs some work to compete too.

Any reason why Scotty can't be pushed into Penske's GT program?

Great to see Briscoe win the race, and also good to see Mostert finish first in his class

The Penske Acura program at the moment is not guaranteed beyond the end of this season, and they have a pretty stable roster of drivers too.

Wing a factory backed program, HPD possibly holds more sway in driver selection?

If HPD don't renew with Penske, there is a rumour that Chip could take it over, unless there is still a Blue Oval clause for if and when they commit to the conjoined LMP1/DPi rules.

Ryan Briscoe becomes the first Australian to win this race.

In looking for confirmation, I found out John Fitzpatrick won the Daytona/Bathurst double in 76.
