I'm wondering if in 2020 we end up with something more akin to the Amaroo Park Amscar series, than an ATCC/V8SC type championship.
Stay within state borders, much shorter season. Which state has the most number of suitable permanent tracks?

Bathurst, Newcastle, SMP and we could bring back Homebush and Wakefield.....

That's great, it starts with an earthquake

Victoria I would guess

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.

If staying within State borders then you are looking at where teams are based rather than what tracks there are?

It's sadly pretty much a moot point to conduct an AMSCAR type of series under the current restrictions.
In most cases they are saying don't even move within your own state, let alone move across state borders,
and with teams based in more than one state, it's simply unfeasible.

Restrictions would have to be relaxed to the point where border travel would be allowed, and the previous 500 people
gathering relaxed - even if spectators aren't allowed into circuits. Trying to operate a race under a 500 people maximum
rule looks like being very problematic.
