Good effort to get a third on debut, although I know the Audi's had dramas and so did the other Porsche. Just a shame about those damn Toyota's!

Round 2 is this weekend, with the Spa 6 Hour, however, there is news that five cars have now withdrawn from Le Mans, which are the two Delta ADR P2s, and three Aston Martins, two of which are from AMR, and one from Craft Racing, which only leaves two Aussies on the grid, as apposed to three which would have included John Martin. The reserves, which have filled the void, are three P2s from Labre Competition, Greaves Motorsport and Pegasus Racing, and two Porsches from IMSA Performance, and Prospeed.

Wyatt was part of the AF Corse team that withdrew from the Bathurst 12hr due to two accidents in practice & qualifying.

He is partnering Craig Lowndes in the Spa 24hrs later this year.

Toyota won the Championship.
All three factory P1 teams have won races.
Tom Kristensen is now retired as of yesterday.
WEC was actually shown on every FTA channel yesterday because of Mark Webber's accident.

Quite looking forward to watching Interlagos, supposedly a tip-top race!

We haven't mentioned it, but so happy Webber is ok!! I woke up to a few twitter notifications, the first was that rearward picture of the 919 on fire and totally destroyed - all it said was "Mark Webber has been in a horrific accident" - I definitely feared to worst at first, but remembered the kind of shunts people had survived in LMP1, so was quietly confident he'd be fine.

It was a bit weird for me. When I woke up yesterday morning, right before I went on Speedcafe, I thought "Bet Webber's either won or been in a huge crash". So to go and see that as the top story was a little scary. The thumbs up on the stretcher was the biggest relief ever.

Webber is still probably the unluckiest guy in motorsport.
