I'd say this being the first time I have heard of these concerns is why the designs are how they are. Functional and for 99% of people, a non issue.

I'm pretty happy with the racing and will watch a lot more than just the main game on any given weekend. I just have a thing about asthetics and want to redesign/modify almost every car I see in some way. I'm sure you feel validated by complaining about my complaints and that your soft attempt at an insult actually got a reply.

If you didn't notice already, motorsport void of theatre is actually quite dull and the fact that you're part of a forum that discusses a series just proves my point.

Perhaps just more passionate?

I know when I first got hooked up watching the series back in 2008 (thank you, internet) I signed up for a couple of forums, this one included. An immediate thing I noted was how many of the forum members/fans were discussing liveries. Maybe because nowadays we have the technology right at our fingertips to create our own liveries? Some of these guys here are very good. In fact, many are better than the ones designing the real liveries.

Passion. Keep it up, men. That's why we follow our sport.

because we appreciate good looking cars? **** me.

nobody would go to the effort of painstakingly designing a car if we went by your logic.

let's all paint the cars white and have black logo's

"Most people make the mistake of thinking design is what it looks like. People think itís this veneer Ė that the designers are handed this box and told, ďMake it look good!Ē Thatís not what we think design is. Itís not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works."
ó STEVE JOBS

To rephrase that sentiment in the context of motorsports... a car design is only nice if it wins races. Sometimes that means putting an air vent where a number is. Sometimes it means not doing a clear coat over your paint job, like Ferrari has done this season with their F1 car.

The ZB and Altima Supercars are both terrible designs. That cannot fixed with new stickers - it can only be fixed by winning races. By matching the Mustang lap times.
