I donít think this event should be on this weekend

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.

The MOTO GP in Qatar has been cancelled but the MOTO 2 & 3 are still going ahead since they were already there for their final pre season testing.
If the all the teams are already here, and the majority of foreign personnel cleared of infection and those who arent are quarantined, it's not going to make much of a difference now. Keeping back the crowds and assorted hangers on should be enough.

Currently it seems reasonable for the AGP to go ahead with the precautionary quarantine measures as needed. If it can be done without any notable outbreaks, it'd bode well for the other Supercars events. But if not, well... I guess it's kind of a win it or bin it scenario. The sparser the fans are at the track the better - good thing it's not quite like a packed concert. Lots of people will be choosing to stay home anyway.

McLaren have pulled out. Surely they at least cancel the F1

I get the sense that itís all over.
There were rumours Supercars might do a 250km Clipsal style event?

Knowing my luck my local round in Perth will be the first to have no spectators... or I'll catch the thing two days before

In the event of an official contracting it during the meeting, would they be covered or not?

I'm sure they'd be paid as normal.

We're going to get hit harder than China.
Look at the measures they went to, main cities were practically closed. Public transport shutdown. You won't see that here.

We may not have the numbers, but percentage wise will probably be worse.
