Because it's not setup to handle 150,000 or so people which is necessary for a properly successful race weekend.

Nothing to do with the track, the event as a whole just doesn't stack up financially compared to other rounds in the series.

And from interviews with the guy (can't remember his name) who runs the Winton track, he's got no interest in doing anything to change the situation. Running small races is what they're all about.

Abhi What ever the **** , Snowy on the trams at the Pub in Flinders lane would be where your info comes from . When this disaster is over , tracks like Winton will be the back bone of Motorsport , expensive street circuits will be gone I Tellsya .
