Gerrys right and it's always been one of my criticisms of Money Bill. On fire one minute extinguished the next.
For a big bloke he also misses quite a few tackles. Inglis made him look ordinary in one game when he ran over the top of him

Whilst he doesn't have a lot of fans.. on here anyway, you can't bag the guy. He came up with the goods at the right time and his football record tells that story. Probably the most successful guy to convert and come back... and I wouldn't mind betting he'll be gone by years end again.

I'd pick Brad Thorne as being well above him.

Couldn't it be argued for a player who stood up when counted, made a crucial play and won the match for a team as well? Consistency is important, but I would assume standing out at crunch times would also be very valuable?

Brad Thorn is awesome. Still though SBW's record of winning titles with the Bulldogs and Roosters in the NRL, Canterbury and the Chiefs in Rugby, a World Cup with the All Blacks etc is not that far below Brad Thorn if at all I would of thought? Especially when they all came at his first and sometimes only seasons with those clubs.

Brad Thorn has also done this in the twilight years of his career.
To be playing at the top at his age is unbelievable

Money Bill is like Glenn Lazarus.
Went to clubs that already had good playing rosters or were on the rise.
There's no doubting he can play but he's not worthy of legend status or the god worship he gets from ch9

If he was a nice guy and humble I would guess people would realise his abilities more, a bit like Vettel in a way. I think that is the major issue with preventing people from glossing over his actual performances.

I watched an extended highlights package of the game last night with the comments on it. He really did a lot of big beneficial plays and the sports show panel said without SBW the team would of lost. Sure he made some stuff ups, but he seemed to make a big impact that counted for everything when it mattered.

Wish I had watched the game in its entirety, seemed really good. That diving try was amazing!

It's not his ability that's at question, it's his mouth and actions, he come out half way thru the year saying this game is to tough it's taking a toll on my body, i'm being targeted so I'll probably go back to union, great thing to say to Rooster fans and League fans in general, it may be taking a toll on his body, but **** me it's the same for all players.

I say "piss off" and take your mate Mundine with ya.

Edit:Poor old Sonny, he thinks he's bigger than the game, he's changed his mind again at the expensive of another.

That's big of him.

Another black flip, this joker needs to be in the circus.

He's not going to Rugby now he's staying with the Roosters.

**** me dead, his guy must have saw dust in his head.

Surrounded by the wrong people and poorly advised is more than half his problem.

EDIT: Mundine made me laugh the other day. He was with his minders promoting his upcoming fight with Shane Mosley. I think Mosley has him rattled, because Mundine said: "I didn't know whether to stare him down, or ask him for his autograph."

ASADA are still investigating the NRL and still haven't found or reported anything noteworthy yet.
