Ok - so it really just allows a series to be East Coast jerks.

Aka - it has zero implication on the winning driver, you are still a national champion in a Champ or Series.

A national championship should have at least 1 round in each state. FF F3 Superkarts and Saloon Cars all ignored WA.

WA is a ******* long way for a non-professional racer. Hardly worth going. It's just the way it is unfortunately. I'm aware of a number of WA resident who've found it easier to compete in SE Asia, than Eastern Australia. Daniel Ricciardo would be the most notable such competitor.

SOme of you don't seem to get the literal meaning of both "Australian" and "National" c'ship. Winning an "Australian" would mean you're the outright best, or best for that disicipline. A "National" series would mean you've won a series that was held on a certain terrain.

No1 fan of James Courtney's ex-wife!

I get it (now), but the literal meaning is silly.

You race in a series and win it, it has nationally recognized rules - eg. Super 6 - you are the champ - you are a National (Aus) Champ, in my opinion...

I hate semantics.
