You can't buy a V8 commodore either..so what's the issue? If you want market relevance go watch production cars..

That's DJR18's point!
Organisers have said continuously that the utes needed to be a dealership item - until now.

Good move, but will they all be running an LS, or will there be other V8 options available?

Maybe they should team up with the s5000’s and get a bulk deal on some coyotes

Just drop them entirely and stick manufacturer decals on the Stadium Super Trucks.

Don't think a Coyote will fit between the uprights of most UTES.

Is a Coyote wider than an LS?

Maybe they can get Boost to pay for new front uprights.

These SuperUtes, now have different suspension and are lowered and the V8 will improve performance. They are already substantially different to showroom utes. I am not complaining about that, but others are. See above aways.

I wish them luck but they do need another 6 cars, at least.

The good thing is that they are still far better than the Circus Act Jumping Clown Cars (Utes) that run in that between race fillers.

That would require negotiation with the US owner of SST, "GOODLUCK WITH THAT".

Well, the Utes will again be V8 Utes in 2020.

The CPAP equipped diesels bowed out with a whimper. Nine starters and five finishers.

If they can't get another 6 to 10 entries, they may as well give up.

10 actually , entries at Newy that is , a lot of damaged vehicles unfortunately, Which will add to the costs of the upgrades, most owners have shown much interest in the V8 swap , will try to Post stuff as things I hope progress .
In answer to T 1 , no in all Honesty I don’t expect an increase to the 14 UTES at the start of next season , 1 because of the Social media impact , 2 The number of new / Other series that are flooding Aus Motorsport , also the possible start at WA .
The Key will be the way the Upgraded Platform is set up by the owners for cost and entertainment .
Interestingly the “ At the Track”Followers we’re divided over the proposed upgrade .

I think they went for the wrong type of ute during their short diesel era.

Given the popularity of Landcruiser 70 series out here in the bush, and the fact that the people who drive them think they're race cars, what they should've done was have a one make SuperUte series for 70 Series Landcruisers.

Adding to that, they could've had a talent search thing similar to Aussie Driver Search where quickest farmers kid gets a funded drive for the season.
