Moffat Returns! (again)

Coming on-board with the #9 ANZ Racing Wildcard entry in 2018 was endurance legend Allan Moffat.
The new combination saw Ain't Care Motorsports win the International Endurance Cup for the second consecutive year, and Allan Moffat Racing win it's first Endurance Championship since 1984 (driving a Mazda RX-7).
Unfortunately, the ANZ blue had to be scrubbed from the car after the results of the banking Royal Commission. This year, the rebranded BRUT 33 Racing will exhibit a striking two-tone green and silver livery.

The team can now unveil that it will once again use the now infamous VF chassis that won the 2015 Championship and Enduro Cup, 2017 International Enduro Cup and most recently the 2018 International Enduro Cup.
Allan has hand picked different combinations to take on each track, stating that the teams prerogative is to win the overall cup, rather than singular events.
Each event will see a different highly pedigreed driver leading the charge with Whincup taking to Bathurst, Mostert the Gold Coast, and McLaughlin at Sandown.

After the controversial use of a Ford Sierra RS500 rear wing, CAMS has made a mid-season re-homologation to what was the Commodore RS500, not allowing the use of the rear wing.
The wiley old fox he is, Allan has once again discovered an interperatation of the rules and made a variance to the VF Commodore, citing his old Ford Boss 302 Mustang.
Following the success of the newly homologated Ford Mustang in the 2019 season, Allan sought to find how the Mustang was so successful and traced it all the way back to 1969 and his Trans Am build.

The now dubbed, Commodore Boss Trans Am, will feature a small flat planed rear spoiler, allowing for minimum drag on the long straights of Bathurst and Sandown - hoping to prove speed doesn't equal ugly.
The front splitter has also recieved an upgrade, showcasing a new design to feed more air over the front of the car, picking up downforce lost with the smaller rear wing. Both of these items featured on Moffat's Mustang.
Similarly to the Supercars Mustang spoiler end-plates, Allan has mocked these up in his backyard, surpisingly in the shared basement carpark of the now multi-residential complex at his old Toorak workshop.

R&K Motorsports

Stanaway Victorious at Home in New Zealand!!

Gorokon, NSW - With the series taking time to race across the Tasman Sea this past round, R&K Motorsports and their pilot, Richie Stanaway, coming back from his neck injury, were victorious in Race 1.

"This is like a fairy tale," said Stanaway post race.

Team Principal Mike also chimed in, "This is our fourth win of the year and it could NOT have come at a better place! We LOVE this track - despite that stupid chicane they put in on the backstrech a few years ago."

With the win, Kiwi fans rejoiced!

And fans abroad danced!

All at Yellow Group Headquarters were pleased.

"That Stanaway guy is second to none, I tell you! We cannot keep the bananas on the shelves in the stores!"

With the win in Race 1, Team Principal Mike noted that Stanaway and R&K Motorsports were sitting quite well in Race 2 until the Safety Car incident.

"It was like taking a torpedo in the side of the hull," said Mike, and ex-United States Navy Petty Officer First Class.

"Everyone knows the sanctioning body BLEW it when they dispatched the Safety Car (see above), and won't ADMIT it, but we have to go on from this second rate circus act."

After a brief interview with the press, Mike found his way to the office of her excellency Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of the country.

"It was my honor to meet her," said Mike. "Richie could not make it, though. He gets nervous around good looking women. She is a lot nicer looking than our President, but in all honesty, he has cooler looking hair I would say."

Mike continued. "I asked her excellency if she could do something to note this gala event - A Kiwi winning at Pukey. You know, something for the whole country - like 'RICHIE STANAWAY DAY'."

"Her initial response was not what we were looking for. But then we offered to donate our Pukekohe winnings to her campaign fund for the next time she runs for office."

"I hereby declare this coming September 31st RICHIE STANAWAY DAY for the entire country of New Zealand!"

A fitting tribute to this outSTANDING driver and personality!

We'll see you all at the mountain with Chris Pither back in the saddle as our co-driver. He was recently located in a hospital outside of Dunedin recovering from his apparent run in at the hands of a group of 100, or so, Haka girls after winning both races in Darwin.

"Uhhh... yuh. I cun make it but my bock is still nummmm. Nurse, anutter Cooper's please? And some aspirin."

Mission: Bananas Now

Ain't Care Motorsports and R&K Motorsports
For this years Enduro Cup, we'll see two long time combatants team up in a bold bid to win Fantasy Leagues (second) greatest prize.
The teams will feature a new special livery for the endurance series - following along the footsteps of the earlier iteration of the 1988 HSV VL, they take inspiration from the 1992 Perkins VL Sandown winner.

The car also has a striking resemblance to the 1994 DJR EB Falcon, but rather than featuring Shell as a sole oil company, they've decided to come out with two! Valvoline will oil/grease the front end, with Mobil the rear.
This strategy is thought to be the cutting edge of maximising the strengths of each product.

The introduction of Chiquita Bananas to the fold changed the colour scheme, and also took prime sponsorship from Mission:Winnow who have been held up in court, reverting to minor sponsorship.
The Batman logo will again remain on the rear spoiler paying homage to the original Walkinshaw Commodore of which the seasons liveries reflect.
This was a timely deal as Ain't Care Motorsports were quickly running out of cash, with a winless streak stretching back to the Sydney SuperNight last year.

Ain't Care Motorsports director, Daniel, was hoping colluding with the V8CFL organiser would bring the prize money, but Mike assures there will be no bias - similarly to the parity regs.

151 Motorsport debuts Wildcard entry and Nissan Upgrade

with the debut of several new cars this season, the older Nissan Altima L33 was left behind. Whilst scoring some good results with a few top 5 and podium finishes a win eluded the team pre-enduros. The team in the background has worked tireless to bring forward the all-new Altima L34 scheduled for debut in 2020. Overall construction of the vehicle has been lighter than the previous model however the vehicle will feature similar external aero package. The team will take part in a three day test ahead of the Bathurst 1000 next week at Sydney Motorsport Park to come to grips with the revised Altima model

coinciding with the Rugby World Cup Air New Zealand proudly supporting the All Blacks the car will feature Air All Blacks branding as seen in their latest marketing campaign. With the All Blacks logos of the past and present forming the base for the design

Mission: Bananas Now

Ain’t Care Motorsports and R&K Motorsports - Racing with a Slight Twist

Gorokan, NSW – As the Enduro rounds rapidly approach, the teams of Ain’t Care Motorsports and R&K Motorsports have combined for what could be great success. Team Principals Daniel and Mike have collaborated on type of car, sponsors, livery, and driver. It is also Mike and R&K's first go in the V8CFL in something other than a Ford as they combine to prepare the car in R&K's shop along the peaceful shores of Shelly Beach.

“This was a real easy deal to seal,” noted Mike. “I am good with the recently 'new and improved' Commodore, too. Daniel here came up with an old chassis of his, a proven winner at that, and put a very nice livery on it for us, and pleasing all sponsors to boot! It should EASILY be spotted going up through the Cutting, across Skyline, down to and and around Forrest’s Elbow and onto Conrod with the hammer down!”

“And if it goes off course,” added Daniel, “The livery colours will definitely be seen out on the brush!”

“Bad publicity is still publicity, eh?” Mike added, laughing.

The team announced that Scott McLaughlin would be the primary driver for the Commodore ZB along with other fill ins along the way.

This pleased the Kiwi fans immensely. It could, in fact, lead to Richie Stanaway getting the full time co-driver ride.

Jacinda Ardern was once again approached for a possible Scott McLaughlin Day for the country.

“There are only so many days in the year. After we just had Richie Stanaway Day, the popularity polls are showing me slipping. I was told he was the greatest Kiwi driver of all time.
‘Better than Denis Hulme is right now’ Team Principal Mike told me to say. I then find out Hulme is DEAD! Hell, I am a better driver than he is right now! I look like an IDIOT!”

Earlier in the week, rumours were abundant that the Ain’t Care/R&K conglomeration was trying to lure Simona DeSilvestro into their camp for a co-driver role. Simona dispelled all rumours by stating she had just been signed by Porsche to have a role in their Formula E program.

“Ya…. Theeze guys wanted me badly for theer teem, but like a lot of guys in racing, fans and fellow driveers, I had to tourn them a-waay and braaake theer hearts.”

“So loung, boys! Goot lock in the endooros!”

“We were taken aback by her response to us,” said Mike. "Who in their right mind would turn down a top shelf V8CFL ride for anything a fly-by-night group like Porsche has to offer?"

“Yeah,” added Daniel. “Especially when we were going to give her a lowball offer and save some money. She sure is good looking though with those sunglasses, though, I have to admit.”

Mike added, “Yeah, there IS something about a cute woman with an nice accent who drives a real fast car."

“Depends on the car,” replied Daniel.

Meanwhile, back at Yellow Group Headquarters, the main financial backers of this foray, things seemed upbeat.

“Banana sales are THAT high in Tasmania right now? That’s GREAT news, Kong! Oh, the movie party is still ON for tonight, too? At your place? GREAT! The original Planet of the Apes, eh?”

“That’s my favorite flick! I especially like the look on Charlton Heston’s face when he finds out they did a lobotomy on his astronaut mate! Now THAT is a great plot!”

“You guys think we could get more speed out of Richie if we showed him that movie? You know, put some ‘pressure’ on him.”

Nothing can POSSIBLY go wrong for this outfit in the weeks to come.

A Soft Team.............We Ain't

Newcastle Street Circuit. The Monaco Street Circuit of Australia. That was if Monaco had a beach on one side and a coal stockpile on the other. It is also home of ten foot tall Hells Angels bikies, the Parthenon Milk Bar and hotted up FJ Holdens. Oh, and the season finale of the V8 Central Fantasy League.

Newcastle was also the birth place of 7 Eleven Mobil 1 racing's new title sponsor for next weekend. We could give away a few subtle hints as to who the sponsor is, but all we can say is that can kill hungrythirsty dead.

"I feel a little odd driving an Oak car next weekend" said Todd Hazelwood. "I'm from South Australia, so I feel like a traitor as its a Farmers Union Iced Coffee, or nothing".

"Todd has assured me that his favourite flavour is Vanilla Malt" said team owner Craig Paterson. "Every one in team has said their favourite flavour is Vanilla Malt too".

The team will unveil their Oak livery in the lead up to next weekends Coates Hire Newcastle 500. 7 Eleven Mobil 1 Racing would like to thank their sponsors for their great support for this year.

We shall see you next week in Newcastle. Be there.

R&K Motorsports

Season’s End / Stanaway to Retire

Gorokan, NSW – As the 2019 season came to a close, our Yank team from New South Wales finished a respectable fifth in the table with four wins to their credit.

“We’d like to thank Richie Stanaway for his supreme driving this year,” noted Team Principal Mike.

“When he was out with his neck injury, his fellow Kiwi mate Chris Pither came through in the clutch. Too bad he was savaged by multiple Haka girls after his wins. On the other hand, rumor was going around that he was yelling ‘DON’T STOP’ vice ‘STOP’, so it might not have been as bad as one would think.

“Although, he WAS in traction for a few weeks after the melee.”

Mike then continued, “But we are sad to announce Richie has retired from the V8CFL. We respect his decision to get on with his life and distance himself from the league. He was a true competitor and will be sorely missed.”

Richie then stepped up to the podium to address all in attendance.

“I’d like to thank R&K Motorsports for giving me this opportunity to prove my skills. However, the media has been quite harsh on me. I am sorry I tell it like it is, and ruffle some feathers along the way, but that is my style. I wish Mike and the boys at the Gorokan shop well. And I also wish to thank those primates who bankrolled our 2019 campaign. They are some good guys. Us humans can learn a lot from them.”

As for the Yellow Group and their assessment of their sponsorship, there was nothing but praise.

“That Stanaway guy was what we needed to move on to the next decade. Banana sales have never been better. Why, even fat guys who don’t exercise and eat nothing but pizzas are shoving down a few of our yellow shafts now. I’m really going to miss that chucklehead.”

The accounting department at the Yellow Group is fully enjoying the 2019 success of R&K Motorsports and the returns on their sponsorship dollars.

With this success, and our marketing group, we have made a deal with some of the Super Heroes comics for promoting our product

Batman Spiderman, and Wonder Woman (she looks a tad nervous)

They are even using our product as art over in the States!

Why, this one sold for $120,000 American green backs! Then the buyer ATE it!

Meanwhile, Richie has been given a nice retirement package by both R&K Chiquita and the Yellow Group.

He said he was going to relax on some island somewhere and look for tan black haired girls wearing palm tree skirts holding drinks in pineapple halves.

“As long as they are banana daiquiris!”

Hearty laughter was soon heard afterwards.

“I’ll tell you ONE thing. We’ll be back NEXT year sponsoring this team. They are the template for what EVERY team should be!”

We’ll see you in 2020 with our new Banana Boat livery and driver.

“I still say we try and get that Simon de Silvestro Indy 500 bloke!"
