Courtney effectively saying he wants a more passionate boss...is that Charlie or Peter?

Ryan has refuted Courtney's popint and in doing so, has shown that Courtney is right. Ryan demonstrates that he is a part time absentee boss that visits a lot.

<facepalm> He walked right into that one.

I can’t help but think given what an absolute ****box the WAU cars are that the airfares would’ve been better spent on development parts than flying an ex-DJ, who happens to be a part-time boss to Australia to do what exactly?

On Noonan's recent podcast Tander also suggests Ryan is "challenging."

At this stage, Tickford may still have an ongoing option for Mostert and he hasn't been released, or even verified that he wants to be released.

quote:
Meanwhile, Speedcafe.com understands a clause in Mostert’s current contract at Tickford presents the Ford team with an option to retain the driver if placed in the top three in the championship standings in August.

As it stands, the 2014 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 winner is sitting second in the championship courtesy of two podium finishes at The Bend Motorsport Park last month.

While the clause exists in the contract, agreements can be struck between parties to override this should a driver wish to move on.

Where’s the Sydney based team and who will drive in it?

More interestingly, who will sponsor WAU, Team 18 and GRM?

Mostert will take Supercheap with him. WAU only needs to find sponsorship for one car.

that's not really sounding like a budget to compete with the likes of DJRTP and T8 though....

No one will ever match the budget of Penske soley on sponsorship dollars so until a team owner coughs up ****load of cash out of their own pockets Penske will stay at the top.

Chaz will go trundeling down the grid at WAU unfortunately, if he signs on at WAU then it is a cash grab to help out life after Supercars

Decent size and 2nd best 2 car budget but still no match for Penske. Unfortunately along with Red Bull dropping from the top step Tickford have also lost dollars.

Penskes entry has been great for the sport regardless of money. One thing to consider though is other teams have lost funding but thag is standard in motorsport due to ones increase in performance and results.

Scary part is the predicted drop in incomes that teams will face in the next season and maybe a few after thanks to goings on of this season.

I don't know what the teams' budgets are as they are all privately run operations who don't disclose those things...
What their budgets are is merely speculation.
