I believe that even NSW media are making adverse comments about the standard of refereeing Zac.

Like I said, it's always the refs.

What did you think of GI's shoulder charge on Josh Dugan - and what would you think if that same charge had been say Andrew Fifita on say, JT?

There were some things that deserved penalties but weren't and some penalties that shouldn't have been. I didn't see the Fifita one on JT. GI's shoulder charge was borderline as it did seem unintentional. There should have been quite a few held calls but there weren't.

Quite a few dud calls from a ref that's from my neck of the woods. Speaking of Woods, that was piss funny.

I really didn't think there was anything in it - he was more bracing himself (and I'm not really a fan of GI). Does Fifita have the brains?

You haven't and won't hear me say anything about Frizzell"s (?) jump on Cronk after his kick.

Qld won the series again!

Gomersall was biased as was Mick Stone, Hollywood Hartley and Greg McCallum.

Those 9 penalties in a row were bull****. Two or three were warranted but both sides were laying all over the ball player and both sides were often offside yet Sutton could find fault in only team. Wasn't just the ones he gave. Thaiday had the ball racked. Sutton called it a lose carry. Moylan wouldn't clear the ruck. Parker had the ball knocked out of his hand by Moylan and Parker was told he was milking a penalty. So the ****wits with the whistle are mind readers as well being blind

Gallen the ultimate cock sucker once again.
QLD are bad winners. That's why the fleas from NSW didn't even hang around when Smith was accepting the trophy.

Another series loss and Gus Gould is still waffling on about how good NSW is and it's the start of something.

Years ago, I can remember Gould saying it was the start of another NSW dynasty. QLD then won the next 8 in a row.

If that's all the cockroaches have after a 12-3 penalty count don't hold your breath waiting for their next series win.

I will only make one comment which is that it was an absolute disgrace that try was awarded to Fifita as Jennings was clearly ahead of the player who toed the ball forward, got within 10 metres of the play and influenced the play as O'Neil was sheparding Jennings off the play and if he wasn't there you could easily argue that he would have tried to get to the ball harder. Even Fittler disagreed with the decision...

Well said - sums up the hypocrisy of LG and the fordies -

Dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. No, no, no, no, no, no, no!
Actually, some Queensland players were doing the same thing last night. Maybe they didn't notice that Cam was talking.
Still, it's only a game - even if some of us do take it extremely seriously.

I'm not sure what the highlights of last night were. Maybe Aaron Woods' celebratory leap, although Laurie missed it - but that was after the game. Maybe it was Cooper practising bouncing the ball on Moylan's head, but Fifita wasn't so impressed. Maybe it was Corey Parker's friendly massage of Teddie's face with his elbow, but for mine, it was JT's last kick at goal. He made the ball hit the left upright, then the right upright, then the crossbar, then made it bounce back into the field of play. I don't know how much he's practised that one, but he'll never beat Gallen's 100% Origin goal-kicking success with that style of kick. It was still a highlight for me.

You know what. I've read a lot of that on social media today and it's proof you shouldn't believe what you read on social media.

Game 3 2014 Suncorp stadium. Qld 32 NSW 8
I was there and unlike the majority of the crowd my brother and I stuck around to watch and congratulate the Qld players on their victory lap.
The Qld victory lap didn't start until Gallen had made his series winning speech and raised the shield.
Suncorp by that stage was near empty and the Qld victory lap was probably the fastest on record

By the time the blues were having their team photo with the shield the Qld players were halfway around the paddock

This link proves what i said
