I don't think it's that. The best selling cars in Australia come from manufacturers who also shut down manufacturing here.

Holden just isn't offering cars people want to buy.

But Holden was Australia's own car company once upon a time and that is one of the big reasons why people still purchased their cars.

But Holden are offering what people want! They have family 4wd utes, they have SUVs etc. The problem is they have taken away what their customers wanted therefore they are not getting all the 2nd vehicle purchases they use to.

It still amazes me how many people did, and still do, believe this crap. Holden, as a car manufacturer, was always fully owned by GM, it was never an "Australian" car maker.

I don't think they do anymore - hence the massive downfall across the board.
People beforehand thought all cars Holden sold we built in Aus, now they know none are.

Holden sales still in free-fall ( down 23.8% from 2018), but Commodore is up nearly 200 units on March, are they giving away a free Astra with each one they sell?

Are those Commodores the stockpiled 2018 ones?

I know they are offering them at drastically reduced prices but would you really spend your own money on one! They are not an attractive car, one of the strengths of previous Commodores Was good looks!
The wagon is really quite ugly, the more I see, the more I dislike it!

The first time I saw one I thought it was an over sized ugly Maxda 6.
This is the first time in my life that I look down at a list of the Holden models on offer and not want to own any of them.

If you had told me ten years ago I would prefer a KIA model over any offerings that Holden has I would not of believed you and thought you had gone mad.

They are certainly at the moment in a sad state of affairs

vasoline you know what I mean

Must say but a low k second hand ZB really isn't a terrible deal due to the **** resale. Wouldn't do it myself, but I can see why others would.
