Just spit balling...Given Poke-a-Kiwi P3 results I wonder if 888 are just trying to be the top Holden team. They submit a aero change that suits their setup, the other holden teams are left scratching their heads. Explains why the hubbub at the commissions level.

Come Bathurst, it's no good just to beat the Mustang, 888 have to beat out their own customers.

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.

So far I've only been watching the actual practice sessions and not any of the fluff in between. Has there been any explanation from anyone commentating.

If not, IMHO it would seem rather strange as if there was no "issues" and given the public innuendo etc I would have thought both Crommo and Kelly would have nipped it in the bud and advised, no they resigned for xyz reasons.

The silence could be damming

Or, it could be nothing damning.

Crompton, in particular, is probably under contract for this year and cannot reveal his plans for 2020, which may provide the answer to his resignation if being a Supercars employee is not continuing.

Kelly was probably just too busy and his priority must be the future of the family company, which clearly has some big issues.
