You can make up so much ground real quick.

And likewise, lose it just as quick.

************

26/5:

Tyler Everingham and Fawzan El-Nabi are wild cards so far for Round 8. I am holding my cards close to my vest at this point. I think Everingham is the lower car number - 77 to 98 (default).

Interlagos and ???

************

27/5:

James Golding along with James Courtney (back again) has now thrown his hat (helmet) into the ring. Suspected numbers, with JG the lowest (default):

31 James Golding
44 James Courtney
77 Tyler Everingham
98 Fawzan El-Nabi

SCL Racing and R&K Motorsports are exempt from Courtney, for we chose him earlier.

Anyone game for throwing El-Nabi out and just going with the other two real drivers? We'll go with majority rule. At least three of us have to vote that way. If not a majority, we keep him.

I vote toss him. If we don't toss him, I am taking him.

If tossed, I'll take Golding.

I'll vote to toss him.
Not sure it changes much though, as I'll be doing exactly what you are.
I'll take El-Nabi, if he's tossed, I'll take Jimmy Golding.

El-Nabi's fate is in your hands, murph & Helix. If tossed, skaifey and I have JG.

Drivers will vote for the second track next week: Michigan, Le Mans, Laguna Seca and Road America.
Apparently going to choose on the day, so no practice time!

yeah sorry havent been online much the last few days, been a couple things going down here, i vote keep real drivers only in future races because pro sim racers are gunna be up the front and realistically they do have a skill advantage over the regular runners even tho Giz and anton are pro sim racers also.

From here on out all sim racers will be excluded from our comp. I like that rule myself.

I had a good run this past round. However, I am at the end of my rope and have guys like Jones and Smith in the chute. Even with El-Nabi's good showing in two of the three races, Golding had a top shelf go in race 3.

No results as of today on the supercars site. As soon as they are posted I will update the table. I sent them yet another e-mail. We are pretty much on a first name basis now. I highly doubt I'll get a Christmas card from them, though.

On a sidebar, if they run MIS (Michigan) next round I hope they remove the "no damage" option for the cars. You wad it up, you wad it up. And.... I would like to see SVG behind the wheel of his sim racer while the race is ongoing. Is it just me or.....?

I used the total points (table) up to and including Round 7 from:

https://simracingwiki.com/BP_Supercars_All_Stars_Eseries

I then went to supercars.com and looked at the current table:

https://www.supercars.com/allstars/leaderboard/

I tallied the diff to come up with Round Points only for Round 8 and updated our table. Now, I do not have individual round points but hopefully they will come soon as I am hoping my e-mail contacting the series will be heard and answered - once again.

Note that the current table is tentative for now. As things progress I will update our table accordingly.

Seton for murph, Seton for Helix....

I'll throw the change-up and take Jordan Boys, unless there is a late breaking third addition.

Boys - 49
Seton - 66

************

I made a points adjustment to the table. This past round, somehow I gave (mis-calculated) Hazelwood an extra 25 points. Both myself and Helix had him, so our totals have dropped by 25 points. It did not change the ROUND order, but it is REAL tight at the top of the table now.

************

2/6:

I have gone back over the finishing positions as posted during the Round 8 broadcast and they are pretty close, but not exact, to allow for determining who won which race.

Of all of the cars entered, three each by four members, it comes out to eight cars, for some of had El-Nabi (two), Golding (two), Reynolds (two), and Hazelwood (two).

From the Supercars current table the tally for Round 8 is in black fonts. My tally from reviewing the posted results during the broadcast are in red fonts:

Waters: 228 228
El-Nabi: 194 194
Hazelwood: 162 162
Golding: 134 132
LeBrocq: 122 120
Fullwood: 110 110
Reynolds: 84 82
Smith: 56 54

So, as expected, the posted results at the end of each race during the broadcast differs from the Supercars table. Not much, but enough to make it to where I cannot officially make a call on who won which race. Although, me having Waters, Hazelwood, and El-Nabi, I think I won all three and swept the round. But it is no big deal - only a stat. The real stat is how many points were garnished and that is more than likely correct as posted on our table.

To be determined of course. What else with these Supercars stat guys?

I reckon I'll take the F1 guy. Christian Lundgaard, just to be different.
Seton looks good though, the Penske guys seem to be up to speed.

Mad Mike is also available.
