Well done Penske.
Makes Supercars look even more stupid.

You can't divorce teams from any alleged Supercars stupidity.

The Teams are shareholders and the Ford Teams are represented at Board level as well as a lesser representation of the non-Ford teams

Effectively, what you are suggesting is that DJR/Penske makes DJR/Penske look stupid as well as others.

So by that logic, The teams fined themselves for the fuel rigs, burn out and poster?

Ford fans be proud. History of Australian motor racing shows Ford has been and will always be superior. They have to slow them down when they get serious about racing. The Phase 4 scared the **** out of people, they banned it. Sierra gets called on a technicality, Falcon EF "...had its wings clipped to make Holden part of the show", AU not allowed to show it's potential, Falcon BF gets clipped. Mustang Is so good Supercars made up a rule and gets a bag of cement in the roof, and it still wins.

That is correct. They knew the rules. They knew the penalties and they broke the rules. Effectively they took actions that activated the fines.

Penske knew exactly what the fines were for the burnout and poster.
Reading between the lines of the politician, I find it weird that he made it sound purposeful and premeditated, whereas Scott surprised (at the fines).

Two people on two different pages.

Also regarding the penalties, CAMS actually set the rules (and receive the fine), Supercars just abide by them and report any breakages.

Not for the fuel rigs. The rules outlining where the fuel rig has to be placed was changed without proper notice to the teams.

A couple of the teams were "caught" placing their rig in the same position as they've always done it and once the rig is fuelled up it can't be moved (the issue was actually picked up before the race, but the teams weren't permitted to do anything about it).

Ryan explained this very clearly, I'm pretty sure it was on The Loud Pedal podcast.

For the burnout, that wasn't intentional and he regrets it. He implied they've made changes to ensure that never happens again.

For the poster, he definitely knew the rule but expected to pay less than the prescribed fine in part by claiming to be ignorant of the rules. He asked Scott to bring the posters up to the podium and probably also made sure Scott wasn't aware he'd be breaking the rules.

Once the fine had been decided, he was happy to admit he knew all along. From his comments it sounds like Ryan may bring posters up onto the podium again in future, but he'll ask for permission first.

Not to mention Scott is a self-proclaimed rule reader after the Winton fiasco.

He says one thing somewhere, and another somewhere else and seemingly easily butthurt.
I've made the comparison before and I'll make it again, he's more and more reminding me of Skaife (minus the biff and barge).

Actually I don't know who is more "butthurt", McLaughlin or his haters. Did he know or not is irrelevant, he did it and Camp Quality is $30K better off and DJR/TP look like heroes.

One thing that I really hate is the comment that some people make when they classify anyone that makes an adverse comment as "haters"

Really? I thought Shane had lots of haters due to swapping from a team plummeting down the order to a competitive Holden contract with a guaranteed progression to a championship winning team.

Scotty is loved by everyone I thought and even more so now he is becoming much more aggressive, competitive and professional. Personality similar to Jdub when he was in that early domination part of his career.

When are they going to do something about putting on a show that is worth the money or dropping the price to suit? This along with a few other circuits are boring as bat**** Supercar weekends

You know what I love? I love the fact I couldn't care less what you hate. Given the post had nothing to do with you. Feeling guilt perhaps?
