I believe that weekend was also HRT's 50th round win, donning the '50' wreath on the bonnet at the next round at Darwin - which TK also won.

The infamous race with the only coverage being Ch7 showing live pictures of the race just from Grice and Seton, while Ch9 had a camera (for a WWOS feature on Glenn Seton that aired weeks later) on the side of the track that caught bits and pieces like the start and end and little else

That 2000 QR event was when Russell turned a backmarker crossing the line, no?

One thing I've thought of looking at these stats, bring back the round wins. It's fantastic seeing someone won the round finishing 1st, 8th, and 3rd or something.
These individual races and qual sessions have done a cycle, time to go back to piecing a whole weekend together.

Yep, it was Mike Imrie who felt the wrath of the Enforcer.

I was thinking we could add some images and videos to this thread.

And here's Todd's Darwin car - with 50 round wins on the bonnet, as I alluded to above, on his way to HRT's 51st round win.

Would anyone have the Championship snapshot after that Darwin event in 2005? Todd went on 6 straight podiums and I can't help but feel he would've been there or thereabouts in the title fight.

FC, I believe Round 9 of the 1994 ATCC was held on this day as well. It saw the first race win for Tony Longhurst in a V8 and the final ATCC round win for Alan Jones.

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMqIyIwBg9Y

The 2005 Hidden Valley round saw the first race win for the second Walkinshaw team under the HSV Dealer Team guise. It was also Tander's first race win since the 2000 Bathurst win.

https://www.supercars.com/news/championship/race-flashback-gt-wins-for-hsvdt/

This was when they were still running what looked like an alternate HRT livery proposal, rather than their own look which came out at Sandown.

I can't remember what happened to put Skaife down to 26th in Race 3, but without that HRT and HSVDT would have finished 1-2-3-4 for the round. As it was, DJR finished 4th and 5th for the weekend.

This will help .
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Australian_Touring_Car_Championship_races

Also, just looking at the celebratory bonnet on the HRT cars at Hidden Valley, 50 round wins for a team back then seemed like such a momentous achievement. Back when the record for drivers was still 37, did we expect to ever see two drivers (Whincup and Lowndes) reach 50 themselves, and have a team (Triple Eight) approaching 100 round wins?

Didn't realise that 888 made it that far. I'm also guessing DJR/Penske (do we count them together?) have punched above Walkinshaw HRT?

Listening to Noonan's podcast with Caruso just the other day, he mentioned that Caruso actually finished at the top of 3 rounds back in 2016?
Any chance, if you have the stats readily available, you could post current race wins, round wins for teams and drivers?
Doesn't have to be too detailed, just the numbers. Maybe there's an older thread we can hijack?
