What's the old saying about politics and sport ?

I'll be happy to see Ford go and bring on the demise of the category as we know it. We might finally be able to go in another direction where the drivers & teams are the main attraction and assign the Ford/Holden/GM thing to the history dustbin.

And this coming from an ex-Holden fan. I'm by no means happy with what GM did to Australia, so will not support Chevy as a matter of principle.

Be interesting to hear what their thoughts are on the current set up and what they would do differently. If it means Skaife is nowhere to be seen, I would fully support them purchasing the series.

Yeah I don't really get the 888 decision. There's no such thing as a round win nowadays anyway, so I don't get the point of it. SVG clearly not happy with that one. Congrats to ADP.

That was a joke. Not worthy of championship status.

A team with too many sponsors. I'm sure every other team in pit lane would like to have that problem. A fully funded race team with a dog's breakfast of a livery - they'd all take that every day of the week.

Only 12 rounds to pair with brand new cars is an embarrassment for Supercars. I had some cause for optimism when the new owners took over, but so far they've not shown much to justify that optimism.

I quite like the 888 livery but I'm struggling to see any relevance to Holden specifically.

Coincidence it comes out the day after RD slams Supercars for not having released it yet ?

Is this the last Sandown ? I expected the dozers to start making housing blocks by now.

SVG clinical yet again. There's no one in the field that can consistently take it to him.

Piss poor token effort from Tickford.

Red v Blue is dead. Never coming back. I don't know why the series keep banging on about it. It just infuriates me more given how GM shafted Holden. I couldn't care less what panels my preferred driver sticks on his shell.

Anyway back to WAU. Good luck to them and hopefully they can regain some on going consistency. No one likes or two teams dominating, no matter who you support.

It is as clear as day that there is a major issue within this series that just wants GM (Opel) winning races

I'd seriously love some of the drugs you blokes are on. If that statement were even remotely true, Scottie would not be a 3 time champion. He would have been knobbled at every turn.

I signed up as soon as they announced it. Yes hardcore motor racing fan, combined with the UCL, it was enough to get me in.
