THE ARROW MOTORSPORT ANNOUNCES MAJOR CHANGES TO TEAM AFTER JUST TWO ROUNDS

New drivers, new liveries early in 2024 season.

The Arrow Motorsport has pulled no punches in their attempts to return to the top step after another tough start to the season. It was announced today that a driver shuffle has occurred with two new drivers joining the team.

Announcing the departure of two of their previous drivers with the arrival of two new drivers is a step in a different direction for the team, who has generally stuck with the same drivers for full seasons in what appeared to be a show of loyalty.

"I am someone that respects loyalty, I don't like letting drivers go who are underperforming. I think we've only done it a handful of times since the team was formed 16 years ago" said TheArrow.

"But at the same time, we need to show that we still have the ambition - the ability - to win in this series. We had to make drastic changes. We're a championship winning team. We're a Tournament winning team. We challenged for the series in 2017. But, honestly, results have been tough since then. We only won a single race last season. It's not good enough."

Along with the announcement of new drivers was the reveal of three brand new liveries for the teams Genesis G70 Supercars. It was not known the team was looking at redesigning the cars, and today's livery launch was somewhat of a surprise for the media.

Gone are the angular, striking blue/green, yellow and white blocky lines, replaced with a sharp and eye-catching two tone split livery. The team's now signature blue/green on one half, complimented by a black opposite half. The two Arrow Productions sponsored cars are a reverse of each other, while the Mint Fresh G70 has the black front, with a greener coloured rear.

TheArrow revealed that this may not be the only livery change this season.

"We're working on our Indigenous design, and might play around a little with some other themed designs throughout the remainder of this season."

The series heads to New Zealand in 2 weeks time.

If my maths is right, I shouldn't have the same team as anyone else with these changes:

Group A: 6 out, 87 in.
Group D: 31 out, 10 in.

Let me know if I've duplicated teams with anyone.

I've heard on the grape vine that there will be some major changes to The Arrow Motorsport prior to the Taupō race coming up...

Always the optimist you are!

Cam had a terrible weekend, so did Will Davo and Andre.  Plenty of time to stir the mix up and get back in it.
Haha look if I start the season as a pessimist, when the team performs better it exceeds my expectations.

TFH Hire apparently. Same company that sponsors Todd in the Trans Am series.

THE ARROW MOTORSPORT REVEALS 2024 MANUFACTURER AND V8CFL LIVERY

Confirms new manufacturer will join the V8CFL in 2024.

The 2024 V8CFL grid has got a whole lot more exciting with the announcement of The Arrow Motorsport's 2024 plans. The team this evening has officially launched their attack on the new season and in doing so, has finally revealed the long kept secret of their new manufacturer.

After originally driving Ford Falcons (with one season in a Ford Mondeo), the Central Coast team then spent a long tenure as the official factory backed Mazda team. This changes again in 2024 with the team beginning a new journey.

In 2024, The Arrow Motorsport will race as the factory Genesis team.

Utilising a race tuned version of the turbocharged 3.3L V6 engine, the team will slot this engine into a Supercars homologated Genesis G70 race car.

The homologation was completed in secret with an example being sent over to the US along with other V8CFL race cars to have the aero tested in a wind tunnel.

"The development of this car was completed in top secret. We're really proud of how we've been able to keep these cards so close to our chest until now." said TheArrow.

Keen-eyed fans will note that the liveries used on the Genesis G70s are similar to those used on the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT GT3 cars that ran in the Bathurst 12 Hour last weekend, along with the same sponsors plastered on the doors.

"I mean, we'd love to win Best Presented Team again, but I don't think we will ever beat that design from last year. It's iconic!"

Round 1 commences this Friday.

Did they pickup Maccas/Hungry Jacks as a sponsor?  ;D
Those colours align more with Oporto I reckon.

THE ARROW MOTORSPORT REVEALS 2024 BATHURST 12 HOUR CARS, HINTS AT V8CFL LIVERY

With the Bathurst 12 Hour kicking off today, The Arrow Motorsport has revealed their expanded, two-car GT3 team with potential hints at their 2024 plans. The biggest mystery for the team surrounds their shift in manufacturer, which has also translated to the GT3 program.

After launching their GT3 team last year for the Bathurst 12 Hour, the team has shifted from BMW to the very successful Mercedes Benz AMG GT. They have also expanded to two cars after running just the one last season. Speculation around the paddock is that the manufacturer shift to Mercedes Benz is an indication of the cars to be run in the V8CFL for 2024. TheArrow refuted these claims.

"We drove a BMW last season in this race and ran Mazda6's in the V8CFL. They are two different teams run under the one organisation." he said.

Regardless of the cars themselves, the 2023 BMW ran a livery very similar to what ended up being on the V8CFL cars. If this pattern is continued this season, the team is running a very different look to last season. The beautiful - and popular - indigenous livery is gone, replaced with an angular and sharp design.

As was mentioned in the announcement for the 2024 team, new sponsorship from Sunshine Coast based window cleaning company Mint Fresh also appears on the AMG GTs.

The reverse colour effect as used on the 2023 cars returns with one white and one black based car each.

No further comments were made by TheArrow regarding the V8CFL team or the launch.

Practice for the Bathurst 12 Hour is underway today.
