A tad moist yesterday but drying track for the day so far today.

Big crash in the utes yesterday... esp the crash into t8 wall and then a secondary crash for the same ute at t9 when he got collected. the vision was a bit inconclusive as to what happened... did the 2nd car lock up and just slide into him? the little vision that they did play the ute seemed to almost go over sideways when it got t-boned!

Dilano van 't Hoff got t-boned at high speed (similar to Antoine Hubert suffered some years back) and has passed.

The weather was shocking and it is being argued they shouldn't have been racing due to such poor visibility. Arguments won't bring him back though.

Not going to share the video link... it is pretty brutal.

Car got sideways and crossed the track in the air hitting the top of the armco, then over it, hitting a camera tower (camera guy in hospital with 'light injuries') and then took out a pole... car is demolished and he sadly passed in the incident.

Condolences to his family and hopefully the camera person makes a full recovery.

Looks like we'll get some wet at some point over the weekend. Been pretty average weatherwise this week. If you do park/view be careful or you'll need a tow out!

I'll be there working my butt off. Official photographer for the 3 car Suzuki team which will be a blast!
