I'm saying team orders suck either way - there is rarely a winner.  If SVG could have passed Feeney earlier he might have got third, but when did the orders actually start?

According to SVG, Feeney had cooked his tyres - if he hadn't have done that then he (Feeney) could have got third and SVG would have been 4th (and happy or not?)

The only good news is that the team (and Feeney) walks away with a round win ... which we don't really count any more so who really cares anyway?

The latest chapter today, VERY boring predictable results, AND I'm an SVG fan.

Heading into the last 25% of the race, SVG is flying through the field, on the best strategy they could muster based on starting last but (amazingly) can't pass Feeney (surprise surprise). But then SVG finally gets the pass done and there's some banter/argument on the radio.  At that point I said that I reckon it would be - SVG gets third or gives the position back to Feeney.

Then surprise surprise on the last lap SVG starts to slow a bit and JUST before the finish line then Feeney (re)passes SVG for 4th and wins the round and SVG drops to 5th place in the race.

Team Orders?  I can't keep track whether they banned or not - obviously not any more

Obviously I'm out of touch, but it doesn't make it enjoyable to watch when it isn't "fastest car wins", it's "what is being organised on the radio in the last 10 laps"

Is the problem that bad that we need to get rid of it ?

I've read all the replies and check the scores and it all looks fine to me.

As per the other advice - ignore it if you want, focus on it if you must.

I treat it as an "indicator" of what the person is like on the forums ( this can differ from real life ) BUT is there a particular member that is being abused and I should be looking at that ?

One of my juniors wrote it, I just tidied up the tweet format a bit.  It runs every hour and tweets new exposure sites in NSW .... at the moment that's scary how many new sites are coming through daily

I'm still working on getting access to the old database .... it is taking a long time.

My intention "at the moment" (ie subject to change) is that I get access to the old database, but we stick with what we have now and expand as we need to.  The old one will be an archival reference.  Again, that might change as things change in the future.

Nice looking machine, but I feel like I've seen in somewhere before.

.... and I'm still working to regain access to the old site.  The whole thing is still "too raw" to talk about really.  Let's wait until you see a post that either says "I have access to the old database" or "I've given up completely" .... at the moment I've spent several hours each day calling a myriad of companies (begging, pleading, negotiating) to try to get access restored and my prediction is it will be the same this week as well

Almost 20 years ago there was an idea to start a new site - times have changed, some things I don't really want to talk about but ask the question if you want and I'll see if I answer.
