Anyone with half a brain could see that apart from triple 8 Chev had no one, they through all their eggs in one basket and it royally ****ed tgem.

Even outside of triple 8 Ford have recruited quite well over the last few years and no doubt they'll dominate for years to come.

Triple 8 jumping ship to Holden has to be Ford's biggest mistake in Australian Motorsport history. The move left them battling for scraps

Triple 8 returning to Ford is a massive loss for GM, unless Dane invests heavily and gains a majority share in the HT, they will achieve nothing more than what Nissan back with COTF.

With premair being the apparent most likely HT team, it leaves me wondering how many knocked it back and if the money GM is investing is enough to cater for the headache of constantly developing a car just to be out performed by Triple 8 anyway

Frankly, I am a longtime fan, and I don't see any significant visual differences in the Mustang Supercars when racing.

This is particularly true when cars are racing in camouflage colour schemes, or liveries to the aficionados.

Would 888 and Ford really be better than DJR and Ford?

Penske done a magical job on the mustang, DJR just sent it backwards once he left. They fudged the engine, they fudged the aero, DJR glory days are long gone until another cashed up buyer comes along.

Triple 8 becoming HT may not be able to drag DJR back up the top step but they will certainly give the Ford teams the better package to have decent stab at it.

I think this program suits this circuit: high grip, high deg. And probably a sprinkle of ego to show the big boys how it's done .

TWe did have this prior but cars were far from equal and everyone was overly penalised for contact.

After watching Melbourne races in full, I'd piss off all pit stop races apart from enduros but increase the points difference between positions, no one should get points for participation.

The short qualifying is much better.

I'd like to see a shift to 2 day events, 6-8 sprints and maximum 10 min qualifying sessions. Get rid of the pitstops.

This is the first time in years the racing was actually unpredictable and battles all the way through the field.

Commentary team still needs a major change.

If they showed this level enthusiasm & cash earlier they might not have lost T888 & would have been in a much better position. They can throw as much money as they want around now, without T888 they won't dominate the sport. They'll be luck to win much from here on..

And truth be told, there is not a GM team that has the ability to step up and take a team to a consistent dominant force.

Lowndes is a retired driver & the current active drivers are the "faces of Supercar"... So Cam, Broc, Kostecki, Brown, chaz, these are the "faces of Supercars" in 2025.

And these are all Ford drivers from 2026. so, I guess GM need Lowndes because none of the GM drivers are household names - like Lowndes is, as probably one of the only drivers to ever really be commonly known in mainstream sports.

I love the road courses, I use to hate the ovals but have found them a little more exciting than supercars now.

I am also looking at a dual cab as we have started camping and be handy to drop a boat anywhere where as currently I need a decent boat ramp.

The ranger is tough to walk past, best value for money, reliability in the early days was a little hit and miss but they seem to have rectified that and in my opinion the ranger was a bit better on the road.
