pretty prejudicial of the media group to not show other views when they were available. they obviously CHOSE to release Will's judicial vision, no reason they couldn't do the same with other cars.
I don't think that vision is available during the broadcast. It's saved to a memory card in the car, and provided to race control after the race, and reviewed by officials over the next few weeks to check for cheating/etc.

It was only available in this case because the car crashed out and the footage was probably only handed over to the broadcast team because it seems like no other camera caught the incident at all. Supercars made a once off decision to release it early.

An eight-minute full-field qualifying session for a 1:45 lap is a joke.
Is it more or less of a joke than a 20 lap race?

Reading Alex Premat is coming over and has a travel exemption for the event, that tells me they are still aiming at running the event in Nov, with or without spectators.

and this right here is one good example of why the anti-vax/anti-lockdown folk get so riled up... they can't travel 5km to see family but bring a bloke halfway around the world for a car race...
You can't visit family, but you can travel as far as you want for work under the current rules as long as it's a job you can't do from home. Pretty difficult to drive a race car from home.
