The track poses an interesting mix of 'new' and old surface. Tyre deg is massive.
It'll be a great weekend of racing.

Lucky SVG isn't there racing, He'd be complaining about putting around having to manage his tyres

Quote from: LG on February 22, 2024, 12:16:43 PMI wonder how long TFH will last. They are as dodgy as hell!

can't recall where I read it but I believe they are only signed on for the first 3 events at present

I would assume it would be related to the length of Todd's tenure.

Not according to Pete. He is very happy with his current drivers

Quote from: stevo qld on November 26, 2023, 11:19:09 PMIf in the real world, an organization (promoter) of a competition advertises a prize, in actuality or by long standing tradition, then the winner can reasonably expect to win that prize.

But that is in the real world. In the world of Supercars, in a very short time before the conclusion of the competition, they can simply remove the prize that the winner has worked so hard for all year.

Betty's Erebus won the teams championship, but stiff ****, Supercars say that the yearlong number one pit position, so enthusiastically prize by previous winners, is reneged upon.

Betty Klimenko and team very rightly have a good reason to be pissed off with Supercar management (or should that be mismanagement). >:(

I agree with Betty - BS decision to change it round to round

Is this about the live pit lane order next year? Only ask because Barry was all for it earlier this year.

Probably toeing the politically correct line.

Quote from: AlbertM on November 26, 2023, 06:39:15 PM323 points clear, Brodie and Erebus has thumped SVG and 888 in the end.  The cruel twist is Brodies final score, 2,888.

Would you say... on merit? 8)

Yes

But will it really be equal?
It will never be equal. 1 team will always do better on the day and win.
Can't have 25 or 24 (next year) first place trophies, however maybe that is the generation ( whatever it is now) and expectation we live in these days

I gotta say too - I am not a Reynolds fan - but it was good to see the guy that used to race in Supercars return with a bit of hunger.

5yrs since his last win is a long time. A shame he is jumping to Team18 now that Grove Racing is coming on strong.

He's hardly jumping to Team 18. I would say pushed out of Grove and took the best option available.

$35 million investment in this fantastic facility.
Huge first event crowd. Can only be better from here.

Parity Parity Parity. 6 Fords in the top 10. Sandbagging Camaro's. Interesting.

Would it be Peter Adderton? He's been quite vocal in the past about getting his own team, even if the Supercars management aren't his biggest fans. He'd then have a team for Stanaway and maybe Courtney. Stop the 24 car rubbish and sell the 26th charter to BRT.
