The window for changes prior to the New Zealand round has closed, men.  All rosters are now locked in.  We have had seven teams making roster changes:

Ain't Care Motorsports
Shogun Autosport
Bundaberg Rum Racing
R&K Motorsports
The Arrow Motorsport
Super Seven Racing Aotearoa
Kalyara Racing Team

Good luck to all.  I will see you on the other side of the checkers.

Tassie Race 1:  Race only went 1/3 of the distance so no point s awarded yet field for Race 2 set by Race 1 results.

PI:  All races now timed races - not laps.

Swap complete for Taupo.  You are welcome.  Good luck.

There are about 24 hours left for roster changes prior to the NZ round.  As of right now we have six teams making 12 roster changes.  That has to be a record for one round.

Format for this round is two 60 lap races with qually and Top Ten Shootouts for both.

For everyone making changes this round, please double check me for accuracy on the Approved Teams thread.

Pre Taupo bump due to many roster changes.

Supercars will use the full circuit, correct?  I was googling the track.  It kind of reminds me of SMP from a topical view.

Got to say, this and the flat bronze livery they had at the back end of last year have been fantastic.
Agree 100%.

14 cars on tap for PI.  The results & points (if any) from Race 1 at Symmons Plains are still not official as of three days ago.

************

Provisionally, Zac Soutar (Tufflift Racing) leads the points standings by just a single point over both Ben Bargwanna and Jordan Cox (Schaeffler GRM) after a dramatic opening two rounds of the season. At Sandown, Hangcha Racing's Bargwanna dominated to claim his first round victory.

Symmons Plains, the results of which are still to be finalised by the verdict of a Motorsport Australia hearing, saw the second first-time round winner in as many rounds with Tom Oliphant coming out on top for HMO Customer Racing.

Is Broc old enough to drink?

Come on, Trev.  Turn to.  The glass is still half full whether it be here in the States or over there in Shepparton.  Brodie is like the straw that is stirring the drink right now.   ;D

9/4:  I have amended the selection choices to reflect Car 99 changing to Car 1 along with driver change.

I care, also.  Huge news!  Not only for the Supercars but for the V8 Central Fantasy League!

I still am wondering if this will last the season, though.   :-\

Well, skaifeman, we spoke too soon!  With the recent announcement that Brodie Kostecki is returning to his seat at Erebus, the switchboards have been lighting up on the forum!

Announcement to all:  The V8CFL rules state that you choose the car - whoever is driving it at that time.  Car 99 is now Car 1.  Same team, different driver, different number.  I have amended the car selection thread to reflect this.  Car 1 will remain in Group B with whoever is driving it.  Car 99 is off the selection thread.

The only odd thing about this is that no one had Car 99 (Hazelwood) on their roster.  So to get Brodie Kostecki on your roster you have to make a change in Group B.

Quote from: Helix on April 08, 2024, 07:09:38 PMso with the announcement that brodie will make his return for the NZ round, i will jump on the bandwagon and pick him up please good sir

in 1 brodie

if this is allowed, brodies car is currently in B tier
Per the rules of the V8CFL, your choice is the car - whoever is driving it at that time.  Hence your changes have been granted.

I changed the selection list to reflect that Car 99 is now Car 1.  Same team, different driver, different number.  I think you just pulled the cork out of the bottle, Helix!
