Your bottom six in Group F are suspect.  Cars 12 and 3 are not in that group.  I put Cars 96 and 4 in there for you.

Had a computer death here at V8CFL Headquarters, located on the northern perimeter of beautiful downtown desolate Stevensville, MI a few days ago.

I'll be back in a few with the updated table and newest member as I break in my latest laptop pet.

What the hell is a touch screen?

There is a lower class of speedway racing that does not know which direction they will be racing until they drive through the pit gates.
Otherwise all car racing is anticlockwise.
Man, I thought I remembered dirt cars down under running the other way.  Maybe I got it mixed up with some old Calder Park Thunderdome stuff.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Ever race your sedan on the dirt clockwise, T1?  Is there any place over there these days that does that?

Formula One / Re: F1 2021 Season

When I was a young man I can remember watching Monaco on network TV.  It was delayed and crammed into a half hour spot on Wide World of Sports.

Before a short break for a commercial, the camera panned the harbor.  On one of the yacht fantails was a girl sunbathing, face down, completely in her birthday suit.  It was at that time, at age 13, I not only became a fan of F1, but of Monaco annually.

There are races, and then there are "more than" races.  We all have our reasons and memories.

Winton deadline for roster changes has passed.  You have what you have.  Good luck to all.

With luck, I will have the results out by Tuesday USA time.  The Indianapolis 500 will take up the majority of this Sunday.

Ohhhh..... wait.  I just found out it was postponed.  Belay my last.

Time for pot luck. Make everyone keep the same nominated teams for when it does happen.   ;D ;D
LG, I just hope this postponement is not a sign of things to come this time around.

I'll let the boys change as they desire.  Once again, the ad-libbing has commenced for the V8CFL.

I'd not long popped outta the womb then given I turned 37 a few months ago. 7 and 3 are my favourite numbers. When I began contemplating that I was gonna turn 37, I started to notice the damn number everywhere, this thread included. Most notably I thoroughly shuffled a deck of 52 oracle cards and drew card #37. The number even showed up just now in a message my Dad wrote while I was typing this post. Make of that what you will. ;D
Coincidence?  I think NOT!

37 years ago it was '84.  It's my favourite number.

You are close to a full team.  No wait.  You are nowhere NEAR a full team.  Use this as an example:

1 from A
2 from B - you only have 1
2 from C - you only have 1
2 from D
2 from E - you didn't even choose from this group
All 6 from F in order of preference (these are the tiebreakers) - you only have 1

I'll be here for the next try.   ;D

Cars:
A - 88
B - 6, 17
C - 20, 26
D - 5, 44
E - 2, 14
F (in preferred order):
1- 99
2- 3
3- 35
4- 12
5- 34
6- 22

Within our rules there is/always has been an allowance for late signups.  When signing up late, the new member must take last place points for all races leading up to the point of signup.

I believe we are going to have a new member soon.

A little more "getting to know the posters" on here:

37 years ago today, May 25, 1984, I got out of the United States Navy after serving my country for six years.  I can still remember that day walking down the gangplank of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise in Alameda, CA for the last time with my good friend Mitch Gunderson carrying my seabag.  That was a tradition back then - help an old friend off.  One of the greatest days of my life.  I am a patriot, through and through, but military management and myself did not really see eye-to-eye near the end of my run.  I fly the Stars & Bars flag every holiday still.  Memorial Day is next Monday, wherein we honor our fallen.

Too bad you blokes are not here as Sue and I fire up the grill.  I'd toss you a beer.  What would be you beer of choice?  Back in 1984, mine was Stroh's.  Now..... whatever cheap stuff is put in front of me.  Coors Light tonight.

Glad to be on here, boys.  VERY glad.  Thanks for keeping the site going, laser.

It is a good series, isn't it. murph?  I look forward to every round.  Nothing like watching those front wheelers just blasting through a high speed downhill corner.

And in England, usually in the damp.   ;D
