Maybe Lance Stroll can break from this Aston Multi 21 formation and retire before him?

Getting us all back together here..... Winton is fast approaching.  Jetpac013, Helix, and TheArrow have all submitted roster changes for this round.  A little more than a day left to submit YOURS.

Anyway what I am trying to say is that I do like following certain drivers that you like & they stay loyal to the brand also the main reason I have followed the sport is the Ford V Holden rivalry, now Ford V Chev rivalry which I believe is the main thing that people that follow Supercars.

So after saying that what do the rest of you like about the category, is it the old Ford V Holden / Chev rivalry or a certain team or driver ?

For the better part of 35 years I have been brand loyal as a Ford man, but as time goes by and things change, I am more driver loyal.  As for my own road vehicles, brand loyalty (Ford) has pretty much gone out with about the same time frame/period.  I can keep any brand running on the road for a long period of time.  Does not matter the make.  I let Sue decide what she wants and take her castoffs now and keep them going until they are completely done.

But driver loyalty is now my answer, sir.  Thank you for asking.

laser, sir.  Let us get rid of this portion of the forum.  I understand where it kind of made a little sense and feedback to the members upon conception, but it has gotten out of control where one can run up the score with someone anonymously for whatever reason and that someone has no recourse to respond to said shot.

Thanks in advance.

It must have been a topic in the old V8 Central forum about nuclear power?
Anyway Mike, does this look familiar to you. I'm sure you've mentioned it in the past?

I remember TMI very well, murph.  I was 19 years old and at Navy Nuclear Power School in March of 1979 when they had their accident, wondering what profession I got myself into.  This accident revolutionized the training for commercial nuclear power plant operators.  I have yet to watch the Netflix series, but have worked with a few that were at TMI on that day, including the control room supervisor when it happened.

Ironically, the movie "The China Syndrome" came out just before said accident.  All anyone not in the profession knew about nuclear power then was from that movie.  It was a HUGE blockbuster.

Timing is everything.

NZ was held up high in front of the world for their COVID response and success.

I'm glad you added the word "was", coz it sure isn't now. This current bunch of lefties has all but destroyed small business' in New Zealand.

Good luck to the ozzies should they be so unfortunate in 2 weeks time.

It certainly is a kick in the teeth for us here, especially as Pukekohe is my home town now.
I don't/didn't mean to knock the NZ government with my post.  They were top shelf in their health safety.  Over here in the States the debate amongst the masses was always health safety v. economical hits.  No government could have covered both bases.  It is just an unfortunate turn of events if NZ starts having economic strife, which subsequently could include a Supercars round.

NZ was held up high in front of the world for their COVID response and success.  It is much easier to do for an island country.  Now shipping, freight, and supply issues are rearing their heads.  It is much harder to do for an island country.

Yin and Yang.

If only there was a means to simply give Baird-o a smite on their website this would have never gotten to this level..... 8)

I'm no fan of Cam but the ex-Mars bar kid was hard done by on that one.
I just finished up watching all three races and the Cam thing still has me shaking my head.

What exactly IS the rule for going around the berm in Turn 7?  A warning for exceeding track limits?  Now one can easily improve track position by doing that and if done in qually I am sure the lap would not count.

Many cars did the same thing all weekend long, but were any of those incidents looked at?  I think the Will/Cam incident only was for it was for the lead of the race.

I think Cam improved his position (kept it) after the incident, but if he is going to be docked for that, one has to think Will forced him off of the track (as pointed out in this thread earlier by Sonic).  This would put WILL in the penalty box - not Cam.  Cam was only out there because he got hip checked.

I actually think they should just get rid of that berm/bump and let them race and maybe even reconfigure the corner a tad.  It would eliminate a call like that in the future if anything.

I would further argue that if they both took the corner and Will was in front then he should have had to give the place back as he gained the place by contact, it was never a clean pass.
Yes.  Yet another way to look at it.  Any way you shake it, the call was not right.

Helix & Jetpac-013, all of your changes are in the log book.

Reminder:  Four changes total in Groups A-C.  Two reshuffles total in Groups D1 and D2.  Unlimited SVG tip changes.

These changes will be in effect for Winton.  You can always "un-change" prior to.  Helix, you are the first to pick up JC.  I am looking at that myself.  :)
