Doesn't the straw get thrown out at the end? :)

Quote from: mikeamerica84 on March 19, 2024, 01:36:23 AMI did see where they are giving five bonus points for the fastest lap in each race.  Very important for the V8CFL.   ;)
not sure how that will make a Ford win, or even attract more interest from the waning population. Supercars has lost the plot

Apparently there's massive turmoil inside RACE.

I wonder how long TFH will last. They are as dodgy as hell!

Quote from: AlbertM on February 07, 2024, 08:33:23 AMSupercars needs to sit on the fence. It's a driver and team dispute.

One could say that Supercars are partly responsible for the situation.
If they knew about the toxic conditions within Erebus and allowed it to continue then they are remiss with their WHS conditions.

Roland's thoughts are probably the sanest I've ever seen from him.
I know this will annoy someone but toxic workplace equals Barry Ryan.
He's running the show. Betty is hardly there.

Quote from: LG on January 31, 2024, 07:06:29 AMIt seems to me that Barry Ryan strikes again.
During the season there was a couple of quiet rumours of unrest but the fact that both drivers were going really well sort of scuppered them.
It appears that Will was the smart one negotiating his release to join 888 Racing.
I don't think Brodie will end up anywhere else, certainly not this year.
It seems everyone is blaming Barry? I like his no bull**** hard man approach to sport, if it was that bad neither driver would have won the championship last year. And Betty would have sorted it out anyway.
Will going to T8 was simply opportunity. Anyone would take it.
Reynolds leaving was probably sponsor related.

If it isn't Barry Ryan then who is it?

He has already spent a fair bit of his life in the USA and my guess is that is where he will end up, even if he doesn't get any sort of drive this year. He may be lucky enough to keep his hand in by picking up some drives in the lower classes.

From time to time various teams have mentioned wind tunnels for testing of the cars, it certainly wasn't just this year.
This year the cacophony of sounds worked together to create an orchestra.
That was the difference.

Funny how DA quit very quickly and unexpectedly.
There's police talk in WA and Qld (and probably others) describing a very valid reason to do with his wife for that sudden announcement.

She'd lost the plot totally.
Like most of the Labor governments in Qld she has increased all the gov't charges to the detriment of the public.
She doesn't seem to care how much hurt she causes, her response is "I have spoken so that's it."
