Group C Models
« on: September 01, 2021, 04:23:27 PM »
Did anyone else manage to get the Diecast Expo 1978 Forbes Bartlett A9X?
Went on sale at 10am, website crashed. Managed to get one about an hour before they all sold.

I have a great affiliation with this car. A close friend was the owner, before the current one, whom brought it to the condition you see now.

One just now popped up on eBay for $900. Highly doubt they'll get that...

Update: They're selling for about $850. Insane.

Missed out due to working to hard and totally losing track of time. 850 in such a short time is a damn good profit for those who stock to resell

Have you noticed the prices on Tru-Blu, Greens'-Tuf and the Palmer Tube Mills XE?

Model prices have been soaring lately. So much so, that I've sold a few as I refine my collection.
I believe those DJ cars are selling for around the $1,000 mark.

Pre-covid the Lap of the Gods car was around that, now it's pretty well $2,000. Even the 1:43's sell for around $300.

If you find one for only a grand you're doing well.   ;D
That's a bargain!
