I always used to enjoy when they raced at the airport (been so long I can't recall where it was) but watching them all spread out with the monstrous runways to choose their own lines was pretty cool

#2
Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland.  A small airport.  Right on Lake Erie and a short hike from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  I was at the race once in the mid-90s.  Dario Franchitti won it.

Yes, a nice venue actually for a race.  Great viewing, too.

Can't wait to see how McLaughlin goes this season now he has a year's experience under his belt.

Hi Mike
Could you please add Indycar or similar to the title to avoid confusion on unread.

Otherwise, a great thread.
Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

Not happy that Indycar telecasts have moved from Foxtel/Kayo to Binge sport.

Already have Netflix and Kayo, not stumping up for a third. >:(

You mean Stan Sport? I hear you, TV is getting more and more splintered in this country. It's not so bad for TV shows, you can binge them and turn the services on and off once you've watched it. But sport is a slow burn over many months. It sucks!

Shame, I was starting to watch a bit more Indycar last season.

Yeah Stan sport probably. Whatever it is, I won't have it. Working on another avenue atm

It's better for Indycar fans in Australia for it to be on Stan than Foxtel. Stan is owned by Channel 9, so it opens up the possibility for some races (eg... Indy 500) to be shown on FTA is ratings work out ok.

Stan is worth getting in 2022. Live Indycar alongside live WRC and live WEC and Le Mans

If it was Stan Sport on it's own for $10 a month, I'd jump at it. But I don't need Stan itself as well.
