I read that a dam had overflowed in the S-W.. With N-W and S-W having problems as well as other close areas, I wonder if it will be possible to get officials to the track? If Brisbane and N-NSW experience is an indicator, then tow trucks are working flat out with waterlogged car removal. Public transport may be cancelled as it is up her, both Buses and Rail.

It takes a lot of Flaggies and other officials to run an event like this and a lot may be cut off from travel or busy washing out the mud from their homes.

Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

Officials have been told their normal parking area is not available. They will be bused in from somewhere to be determined.A number of officials have decided that an hour or two added to each end of their day is enough to end their involvement in the weekend.
Meanwhile the arrival of the most torrential part of the rain has been delayed by 18 hours giving them less time for clean up.As of this moment no rain and even some Sun which makes set up easier but tonight/tomorrow might bring big problems.
They need to move the Saturday program forward by 3 hours as the wet weather will make it close to impossible to run a race with spray turned blinding by floodlights.

I wonder how the support categories will go getting numbers there??? QLD basically cut off ATM

The times from P2 are meaningless as the last 60 seconds was red flag so pretty much most of the final quick laps didn't get completed.. Give me one day to be happy at least!!

Still a bogey track for Tickford, but surprised to see Waters outqualified by two of his teammates!

Wow is this a sign this V8 Central Forum is dead? Why have I missed any comments during an actual race???

Maybe I'm stupid?

Possibly more of a reflection of Supercars itself.

Boring as all get out! Can we finally admit, the 9 parity changes to advantage the ZB was 2 or 3 too many! There is no excitement anymore....it's so contrived!!

Can't say I agree.  Qualifying which is the best indication of raw car pace and how parity is determined had the first ZB .35 down on 2 Fords and another .2 advantage in the shootout.  Using race results to call out parity is intellectually dishonest given the plethora of additional variables which go into the results of a 70 lap event.
